Ask Albert - on Facebook!

On the occasion of Albert Einstein's birthday, the general public will be able to send questions to the scientist through the Hebrew University's Facebook page

What led Einstein to develop the theory of relativity? What did he think about the use of the atomic bomb? Why did he refuse to be president? And did he believe in God? All the questions you always wanted to ask the world's most famous physicist, Albert Einstein, will now be answered on the Hebrew University's Facebook website.

On the occasion of Albert Einstein's 131st birthday and National Science Day this week, the general public is invited to ask Albert Einstein questions about his life, his scientific work and his public activities through the Facebook site of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The questions will be answered by Prof. Hanoch Gutfreund, former president of the Hebrew University and currently academic responsible for the Albert Einstein archive, who will answer the questions based on Einstein's writings.

Einstein, one of the founding fathers of the Hebrew University, gave in his will all his intellectual property and all his writings to the Hebrew University.

Questions can be directed through The Facebook page of the Hebrew University is already up, or send them to email: PRmedia@savion.huji.ac.il. The answers to the questions will be published on March 22, 2010.

    You have already said (in too many words) this nonsense and there is no need to repeat it over and over again.

  4. Without words - in Chabad they do not reveal who answers by name. Here at least they say who the expert is, what's more, in Chabad a vague answer from a random page in the book is enough, here they bring certified quotes on exact topics.
