Russia and the USA will join their efforts in creating technologies to repel asteroids that threaten to collide with the Earth. This was announced in an online conference held by the Minister of Emergencies in Russia Vladimir Puchkov and senior officials of the Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA (FEMA). This is what a website said State Radio of Russia.

"Implementation of the agreement will allow the US and the world as a whole to plan effective mechanisms to protect against the threat of asteroids. We at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia are planning an initiative that will combine efforts to build the next generation of new approaches for monitoring threats from space, informing the civilian population and minimizing damage," said the minister.
According to Puchkov, the current technologies do not allow the dip, but the Russians have several programs for research on the subject.
His colleague, PIMA director William Craig Fogart confirmed the need to join forces for the asteroid problem. According to him, this is not a task that one of the parties can accomplish on their own, and he described the lessons that the US learned from the meteor explosion over Chelyabinsk about a year ago.

  1. Israel could be a subcontractor of these two giants. The field of defense technology could be wider.

  2. The Russian and American space agencies should establish a subsidiary company that would launch space missions to the moon and Mars. In my opinion, in the long run, there would be a need for government involvement in the names of space. Private initiatives will not withstand the economic burden, and will nationalize. Similar to the East India Company, from the past.
