After the whole world came to know the singing of Rachel "Zemar Noga" (or voiced voice) that the late Rona Ramon asked to play for her husband Ilan Ramon during his stay on the Colobemia ferry, a stay that ended in disaster, comes another tribute: this time it is an original song by Ramon's son Tal, who is also a musician who is currently releasing his second album.

On Thursday, 14/4/2022, a conversation took place at the 'Rakia' mission complex during which musician Tal Ramon, son of the late astronaut Ilan Ramon, spoke with astronaut Eitan Stiva and revealed for the first time his song "The future is late" from his second album "It's not over yet".

"The song was written following a dream"

The future is late
Lyrics and music: Tal Ramon
A new single from the musician Tal Ramon's second album - "It's not over yet".

Tal Ramon: "The song was written following a dream I had. In the dream there was a world we all wanted to live in. A new and better world, one that sometimes seems just around the corner, and sometimes it seems too far and almost unattainable.

We live our lives in the here and now and with the feeling that everything is temporary, but sometimes we forget that we also have responsibility for our future, and how important the development and the path we follow, when our morals and values are an integral part of the game. Our intentions and decisions are not only ours, but also ours. And they are the ones who shape the lives of all of us here.

I believe that this distant future that we imagine in our wildest dreams, can become our reality here today. It is so easy to fall into cynicism and forget, but it is important to remember that there is always another reality that we can create, even if sometimes it seems that it is too late and too dark, we still have time to fix, there is always room for hope, and there are more ways to go and discover.

The new song is accompanied by a spectacular and artistic music video, created through computer animation by the creator Elder Brantman. The clip gives the viewer a glimpse of another reality, and conveys in a very precise and tangible way the feelings and efforts of the protagonist of the clip, who goes on a quest to find a new world, signs of life and hope for a new beginning.

Four years after the release of Tal Ramon's debut album "Figure", the new album "It's Not Over" will be released, dedicated to Tal's mother, the late Rona Ramon.

The album contains honest and open texts, wrapped in a rich and precise musical production by the esteemed producer Tzach Drori, and takes the listeners on a journey through Tal's life journey, fulfilling dreams, love, dealing with the loss in his life, relationships and experiences he gathered along the way.

The song was played in a world premiere during a conversation with the Israeli astronaut, Eitan Stiva, who is currently staying on the International Space Station as part of the 'Rakia' mission. The mission, which is designed to stimulate curiosity and creativity through a human journey into space, is dedicated to recognizing the potential inherent in the exploration of the universe and raising awareness of the importance of protecting the Earth, while deepening international cooperation and promoting the space industry.
The mission is revealed to students, educators, researchers, people of thought and culture and the entire public, through dozens of scientific experiments and blue and white technology demonstrations that are carried out at the station, through the transmission of educational content from space to Israeli children as well as the creation and presentation of Israeli art works in space. Because no dream is too far.
