Will salvation come from Poland?

While in Batowice, Poland, the representatives of the nations are sitting at the 24th climate conference, debating how to moderate the warming, outside the hall all the forests are being cut down in Poland and most of the energy that Poland uses comes from coal mines

While in Batowice in Poland the representatives of the nations are sitting and debating how to moderate the warming, outside the hall all the forests are being cut down in Poland and most of its energy comes from coal mines when it is already clear to anyone who has his eyes on his head and his head on his shoulders that the poorest and least protected inhabitants are suffering from the warming.

While the representatives of the developing countries demand reparations from the rich countries - when the UN secretary meets with the representatives of the suffering countries and especially island countries who emphasize that inaction now is insane madness bordering on suicide.
At a time when it is clear that the damages of the warming are already here and the main debate is who will pay the victims. But no progress is seen in the discussions and there is no hope for the realization of an initiative and practical activity.

While a lazy president is relying on oil tycoons and climate charlatans, data is being published on the effect of warming and periods of drought in large parts of the world and especially - again in areas where the underprivileged and the defenseless live. Under the title "Record increase in dry spells in the African Sahel worries scientists" a report is published based on the claim that: "There is a limit to how far people can adapt to periods of drought".

Climate change is causing much drier conditions in the Sahel region, where there has been a 50% increase in the number of dry areas in recent decades, at the same time the shift in the climate "belt" is causing more rain in Northern Europe and Northern Asia. The rainstorms cause flooding. This is according to the Potsdam Research Institute for Climate Impact Studies in Germany.

In the years 1980 to 2013, a 25% increase in rainy seasons was measured in the eastern and central USA, which according to the researchers is a surprising and alarming fact compared to drying Africa.

The researchers propose to increase efforts to moderate global warming by reducing emissions, according to them by introducing huge amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, the human race has burdened more than the globe can bear.

The study, which is based on data from fifty thousand meteorological stations around the world, found that the most severe dehydration occurred in and around the equatorial regions. On the other hand, more rain fell in countries in more northern regions.

According to researchers from the Netherlands Institute for Environmental Studies "without the long-term climatic changes, without global warming, there would not have been such long periods of dryness in the Sahel".
Drought periods that become longer endanger the survival of herders and farmers. To prevent a disaster and make it easier for the inhabitants of the Sahel, the countries of Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger and Senegal established an insurance fund (African Risk Capacity (ARC)). The payments are made to the governments so that they can help the victims, farmers and shepherds.
There are also projects to improve the situation of the residents by injecting cash in difficult times, which will allow the populations to get through the difficult times.

According to UN representatives from the Food and Agriculture Organization, "there is no way to stop the drought, but it is possible to alleviate the damage." Severe drought periods burden the budget of the Sahel countries, which need about 3 billion dollars a year to relieve the residents.

According to the researchers from the German Research Institute: "The increasingly destructive effects justify urgent and immediate efforts to stop the warming between 1.5 and 2 degrees, also according to the Paris Agreements."
"The fact that extreme climate phenomena are already happening following an increase of one degree is worrying. The warming will cause intolerable conditions to emerge"

Since climate change is also hitting the country of the "genius" president, perhaps he too will understand the need for immediate action to mitigate the warming and even to support developing countries that suffer from environmental crimes caused by industrial megalomania in his own country.

Even here, climate change is causing serious problems, especially a lack of water, but even today a considerable part of the lack can be prevented by storing the water that flows in the streets of the cities and injecting it into the ground, thus enriching the waters that have been depleted due to overuse and short-sighted policies. It is appropriate that the people of the "Water Authority" who for years engaged in pointless explanations should admit their past failures, apologize for the mistakes and act according to the changing conditions, since all the water that floods the streets of the cities can be stored and infiltrated into the ground. Passing through the soil layers, the water will be filtered and enrich the waters, which will allow the use of the closed wells to be resumed.
