Britain released reports on UFO sighting sites

The documents include a record of the complainants, who addressed, among others, the then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. The explanations - mainly lights from airplanes and misidentification of planets

Secret files that include reports of UFO sightings were made possible for the first time by the British Ministry of Defense. The documents uploaded to the British National Archives website cover the period between 1978 and 1987. The wave of reports that swept the world at the end of the seventies is attributed to Steven Spielberg's film "Encounters of the Third Kind" and the UFOs - which are not a misinterpretation of the lights of landing planes - are remarkably similar to those in the film.

Extremely detailed descriptions are available in the files, which were prepared by Ministry of Defense personnel for Lord Strabolgi, then the Coalition Whip in Parliament, for a debate on the subject of UFOs in the House of Lords in January 1979. The brief's authors conclude that there is nothing to suggest that UFOlogy is anything more than nonsense. And the intergovernmental silence is the most amazing and flattering claim for the security services of the Western countries who don't even know they have such a capability."

British Ministry of Defence published the documents as part of a four-year project to transfer the UFO documents to the National Archives to make them available to curious citizens. The documents include hundreds of police files documenting eyewitness accounts of strange object lights in the sky, from southern England and Wallace to Northern Ireland.

Among the documents, documentation of strange reports in the sky and unexplained objects observed by the public, soldiers and police. One of the citizens described in great detail how he formed a physical and mental connection with green aliens since he was a child. The writer claims that one of them, named Elgar, was killed in 1981 by beings of another race, shortly before he was about to contact the British government. Another letter writer claims to have visited alien bases in the Wirral and Cheshire, while his wife reported seeing intercepted UFOs over Wallasey and Marysbed. In total, the authorities received about 200 reports. Eight of them have already been revealed and the rest are expected to be revealed over the next four years.

These documents will be available for free download during the first month of their publication. A spokesman for the National Archives tells the BBC. Because the documents became available after several requests under the Freedom of Information Act, and also due to a preliminary step by the Ministry of Defense towards making the government transparent and open.

Most of the documents that have so far been classified consist of letters sent by the public to government officials, such as the Minister of Defense and then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Another document reveals the experience of a 78-year-old man who claimed to have met an alien on the bank of a canal at Signstock in Aldershot, Hampshire in 1983. He said he entered the spaceship, and provided a description of what he saw before being asked by the aliens his age. Then he was asked to leave, 'You are too old and too weak to be of use to our purposes.' One of the aliens allegedly told him.

Another letter from the director of a group known as the Wigan Ariel Phenomenon Research Team asked to find out if the Ministry of Defense has practical experience in studying aliens. Another letter reveals how on 21 February 1982 a group of patrons and staff at the pub reported an unidentified object emitting flashing red and green lights which appeared to be flying towards Gatwick Airport.

There were also reports from official sources. The US Air Force reported two Air Force officers seeing unusual lights outside the back gate of Woodbridge Air Force Base in Suffolk in December 1980. This description refers to one of the famous alien encounters in Randlesham Forest known as "Britain's Weswell" after the famous area which are attributed to him descriptions of landing of aliens in the USA.

A number of drawings are also inside the files, and they are supposed to accurately describe what the painters saw. One of these drawings was drawn by city police officers who were called to a house in Stanmore in the London Borough of Harrow on April 26, 1984. Three officers spent an hour watching the sky at an object that appeared to be moving erratically from side to side, up and down, back and forth, and never straying far from its original location. One of the officers who viewed the bone through binoculars described it as round in the middle and containing what appeared to be a rod above and below it. And it shone with lights in several colors.

Common explanations

Visitors to the National Archives website will be able to find a video description by Nick Pope, a British UFO expert. Popo photographed what he believed to be a UFO hovering over central London. This is an interesting description of a UFO hovering over a populated area, and usually people identify UFOs with objects hovering in remote agricultural areas. There is a photograph of a UFO hovering over Waterloo Bridge, with several witnesses stopping to watch it travel over the Thames. Pope said the most common explanation for the clouds were aircraft lights, bright stars and planets, satellites, meteors and airships.

I think that the phenomena of the UFOs/as unidentified objects flow more into the parapsychological/metaphysical field as repeated simulations of the "projections" of the world of thoughts and objects in feedback - repeated, feedback...from ancient ages and perhaps also more amplified at specific times in the cycles of certain grams in the solar system and the other systems linked in integrated rotation which includes "pulses" at certain timings, such as currents.
From the "philosophical" point of view, Plato reflected the subject correctly, in my opinion, when he referred to the world of "ideas", and Shakespeare more "went with the same phenomena in the world of the silhouettes of the phantom shaped as an eternal idea (the aura seal) of human figures/spirits and the rings that were alive.
It is possible that all the "formations and projections" that certain people encounter are not far from the story of the man-animal chasing after his shadow/its random or timed reflection/and the reflection of the world of objects that exists in nature (an atom and its particles are nature after all).
The astral "shadows" - as parallels of himself or close to him in affinity.
If the world/universe is built from alternating resonances of tones and sounds that create effects of a different spectrum of colors
In different frequencies or tonalities then, everything that the records show is like a repeating "mirror effect" of phenomena that exist in this world/life on this planet.

  2. I can't believe there are idiots who don't believe in aliens, it's like believing in your religion, of course you're religious, but disrespecting people who believe is simply rude!!!!

  3. false religion
It's not clear - so what if we didn't give a name - Hindus don't have a name either, it's a name that the West gave to the multitude of beliefs that are usually accepted by understanding each other and accepting other opinions and the West in the new era gave it the name Hinduism

So you start telling yourselves the false religion
leading today the world, science, humanity....almost everything is already engineered
The goal of everything being engineered - a goal that is probably worthy - the price is probably not

But the false religion does not ask

  4. Last night I happened to watch the Star Trek/old movie again..the one we fantasized about when we were young and beautiful.
For a fraction of a second I "came back to myself" after the cognitive trauma that was revealed to me on the science site and it is: we are still not worthy to understand who we are at all..or who is the creator of whom and how and how a little if not a lot have we become confused (we have assimilated? Not necessarily in the traditional religious sense, but we have become completely confused Between there and here) somewhere we lost the 'creator-memory connection' in the unsolved eternal dynastic enigmatic way and I really admit that 'I' really and truly (completely) miss the original ancestors, some of whom are actually here too (living with us, among us) and not 'there' exactly as 'Unidentified objects' ..and they simply don't remember or aren't willing to admit their legendary memory..but..maybe they aren't exactly in front of the computer either..at the moment.
    who knows.
In any case, the moment or the time will come when a certain awakening of "dormant and primitive gods" living as robots among us, that is, doing things, interested or not, compulsively collecting objects and other kinds of things, for better or for worse, will reach a certain high point/low point that will literally jump them from their base and then Perhaps the meeting between the "products" and their "creators" will be possible.
Then we will know if all the many simulations and documentation about UFOs are illusions/as "projections of the past" or simply an existing parallel reality: primordial and as a continuation of various evolutions in other spheres.

  5. Noam:
I asked myself the same question.
I think when they went on the trip a lot of people were suspicious and even wanted to send a researcher to look into it but the only researcher they trusted just went on a trip with Watson.

  6. Michael,

Speaking of the story of the tent and the stars - did you know that there are certain rumors about what the two did at night in the tent (before they stole it)?

  7. Dawn,

Maybe you could explain what you meant when you said:
"There is a whole system that deals with censorship and concealment"?

Who is? What is? What is his interest?
Can you provide sources, or is this another name you saw in the summer?

  8. Dawn:
Sherlock Holmes and Watson wake up early in the morning under the starry sky after spending a night in nature.
Both are still lying on their backs looking up at the sky.
Sherlock Holmes asks Watson: "What do the starry skies above us tell you?"
"It shows me," says Watson, "how big the universe is and how insignificant we are in it. It reminds me of all the theories I've heard about the process of the formation of the universe and how natural Einstein's assumption was that the universe is static. In short - it mostly excites me. What does this mean? to you?"
"to me?" Sherlock Holmes replies, "To me it simply means that while we were sleeping our tent was stolen."

I also spent a lot of time looking at the sky (mainly during exercises during the reserve service - somewhere away from the light pollution that almost hides the sky when you try to observe it from an inhabited area) and it gave me many thoughts.
All of them, by the way, made sense - which proves that, at least in the literal sense - the appearance of the sky, although it is beautiful, is not necessarily "wonderful".
So tell me: when you say that it seems to you that most of us spend our nights mainly in front of the computer - do you see it in the sky?

There are of course many people in science whose profession is observing the sky.
    They are also mostly sane.

Of course, not only the sky is interesting and beautiful.
What you see under a microscope is also like this and what you see if you observe any natural phenomenon - even in the garden near your house.

  9. Noam, as in any society, there are those who control and dictate the tone and there are those who row against it.
As of today, there is plenty of evidence, but there is an entire system that deals with censorship and concealment.
Anyone who is aware of this develops a higher awareness of himself against the establishment, accompanied by a deep sense of insult.

I have met several people in my life who have seen phenomena in the sky and I am one of them.
How many of you skeptics go out to spend the night in nature? As it seems most of you spend in front of the computer most of the time.
Go outside, look at the sky, maybe you too will change your mind...

  10. Noam like everything in the world of bizarre beliefs, there are those who get a lot of money from it, and there are the idiots who give the money.

  11. The controversy surrounding the issue of the masses is a strange controversy.

Apparently, it should be a very simple matter: either we were visited by aliens or not.
There is no serious person who completely denies the possibility of being visited by aliens, and if they do visit us, it should not contradict the laws of physics that we know today.

For some reason, most of the obscurantists turn the matter from a simple question of the existence or non-existence of a certain phenomenon into an almost religious obsession. The fervor with which they try to convince us skeptics is strange and strange, after all, all that is needed to decide the dispute is simply reliable findings.
In the absence of such, they wage a war of attrition against any simpler scientific explanation for the stories and descriptions of eyewitnesses, and pull out childish conspiracy theories, which have no logic, and no possibility of long-term existence, thus turning the scientific dispute into a delusional religious dispute full of emotions.

Gentlemen of faith, if the phenomenon does exist, it will not go far today and clear and sharp proofs will be found for it beyond any debate, and until then, it is better to return the controversy to its proper place: the existence or non-existence of a phenomenon, which only reliable, scientific findings and proofs will decide one way or the other.

  12. What to do if there is someone whose intelligence is hurt by the truth?

  13. I've never met an alien, I've never seen strange lights in the sky.
I have a good friend who saw it once 30 years ago and didn't report it to anyone because he was scared
that his future as a serious person will suffer.
I don't know if there is any truth in the words of those who believe in aliens.
But I do know that the excuses given by the official experts for clouds such as "airplane lights, bright stars and planets, satellites, meteors and ships" are simply an insult
with the intelligence of those who are really looking for explanations.

  14. Statistically there must be another star, at least one, whose conditions are suitable for life. And hence it is possible that they are developed enough to reach us.

  15. According to what requirement? Yours, Isaiah?

Encounters of the "third type" are further described in the books of the Bible....

"The Nephilim" in the book of Genesis... the "visitors" who came to Lot to Sodom...
The "meetings" of the prophet Ezekiel and more...

In any case, you are welcome to do your research...extraterrestrials visit DHA..

  16. Slowly and surely all the members of the scientific community will move to the side of the "believers" in alien life and all the theories that there is primitive life such as bacteria on some remote planet will be replaced by the understanding that our entire galaxy is teeming with life and aliens were here before us.

  17. To Hugin, one interesting question remains from the entire long letter.

Where do the great writers and creators get their inspiration?

Usually from small authors who preceded them who were talented enough and imaginative like them, only they didn't have a good budget for public relations.

Beyond that, I have no interest and ability to intervene in wars between alien races, for my part, if they make one movie that pits all the alien races from all the science fiction movies (because that's the only place they exist), it could actually be interesting.

I am also in favor of an open mind, but not to the point where the mind is spilled.

  18. Closing accounts and forgiveness.
When Adrian Dvir wrote his books, I read them all, in order to understand what he was talking about. Adrian-a scientist, according to him, he emphasized his loyalty to cross-referencing data..I went to check if he really kept his word.
His books testified to an aldermanship of mental zombies even in the extraterrestrial skies, to an intervention
Other species in human research, despite the law prohibiting premature intervention. About the gray-brained species, who peeked into the experiments here, and for their "help"... in the meeting with him, he despised and belittled,, the species he represented in front of
His eyes, maybe the main thing. At the same time, he was faithful to what he saw, as his eyes saw it. I did not disrespect
In his view, although I took it to the place that my place sees...as right and sacred for everyone.
His books were an unequivocal signal to me "as above so below": chaos of brains and fictions.
Obviously, at this moment, humanity is not in a state of peace within itself, any "extraterrestrial" being
constitutes a threat, and does not add anything, other than a hint that there are more and more things we must learn,, who are they?? Who are you?? What are we??
For this moment, on the face of it, if only on this site, it can be learned that there is no maturity to understand even the neighbor
The bearer of the flag within your own people, therefore, any other factor is only an apparent disturbance, and perhaps an irritation
Aiming to really check the sizzling mindset.
Personally, I have never seen extraterrestrials. But my hand scribbles amazing formations, which seem to be out of this world.
Is it the worlds of inspiration that embrace all the universes?? Is it inspiration from books and movies??
Where do the great writers and creators get their inspiration? What if the living evidence of these
Who experienced and left a mark on them? All the recorded phenomena since time immemorial and all time raises questions
Questions, and a desire to explore.
A true researcher knows that timing has a decisive factor in his actions. Also some conscious and unconscious driving force
which attracts him to do his actions.
Most of the discoveries come, amazingly by chance, the irony of fate, after a desire to find something else...seemingly.
The world of research is a deceptive world..I wonder if there is a researcher who does not laugh at himself sometimes when
He discovers that he was an idiot more than once in the processes he goes through... and in any case to say at the end: it was worth it.
Personally, I say: an open mind and a healthy mind always pays off...and don't underestimate anything.
Skepticism within the limits is always desirable, in the right dose, for the capacity for inclusion.
You then have the option and the opportunity to live and train yourself to accommodate another hidden potential..
And it was on the subject: all the unidentified of all kinds... for the matter of fact.

  19. Gillian What association is this about?
    Can you provide more information?
    Thanks in advance

  20. Gillian I will explain to you the considerations in choosing the sources, in any case I cannot do everything. And besides that, I'm not supposed to know everything, and if there's a detail that you think is important and you add it in the talkback, that's great, because that's what distinguishes the Internet from a printed newspaper.
And again, I wish I could go to the site at more normal hours and invest more resources in each article.

  21. My father, my friend,
On the contrary - the details are very important. So important that their absence gives the facts a completely different garnet than in reality.

Believe me - I know what a deadline is and still, a deadline cannot be an excuse for advertising that is not true to reality. By the way, I allow you to call me next night at twelve o'clock, and mine and Hanan's phone numbers can easily be found on the association's website. 🙂

By the way, a little misunderstanding - I never said that the foreign sources are not reliable and balanced, on the contrary, I said that your summary is not faithful to those sources.

Let's hope for articles more faithful to reality in the future.

  22. Mr. Blizovsky, it is clear that the essence of your article will be created as usual
A smoke screen by omitting the relevant facts and emphasizing the anecdotal details.
What to do[?] After all, the old-fashioned belief is that those who speak seriously are stupid
He is not seriously guiding the entire antiquated scientific community.
If there was intellectual honesty, he would guide the establishment of this position, and not prejudice,
There was no point in arguing at all.
The fact that there is no debate despite the facts that fly every day in the sky of the world
Just indicates the flat and narrow horizons of the scientific journals in our country.
Even commercial channels like CNN and FOX have long been embarrassed to stand up
In the frightened tail of the caravan marching into the 21st century

  23. Gillian, it's not nice to call people at 12 at night, what's more, I don't know your phone number. Every issue has a thousand and one sides, it's hard to reach everyone and I don't have all your information. Apart from that, those foreign sources that you don't like are sources that I know to be reliable and reasonable.
We all strive for perfection but there are also deadlines in life. In this case, these are not such important details that it is worth delaying for 24 hours.

  24. My father, my friend,

It's a shame that your article lacks essential details and misleads the reading public.
For example - Nick Pope is not just a "British UFO expert" - my friend Nick Pope is a former top official in the British Ministry of Defense, a fact that for some reason, you didn't bother to point out.

In addition - your title sins against reality since it is not about "viewing sites" but about evidence and documentation of sightings and encounters with UFOs.

It is not enough to arbitrarily summarize information as it is presented in the foreign sources (in this case, the summary is not even accurate), one must be familiar with the entire subject in order to bring the information to the public or at least check the data before publishing the information.
