Solar winds are caused by its magnetic field and that of the planets

Solar winds that form on the Sun are probably caused by a process involving the powerful magnetic field, according to new research from University College London (UCL) based on recent observations by the Japanese satellite Hinoda.

Scientists have been trying to find out for a long time what the origin of the solar wind is. The Ultra Imaging Spectrometer (EIS), aboard the Japanese-European-American Hinoda satellite, is now producing unprecedented observations that allow scientists to develop a new perspective on the 50-year-old question - how the solar wind is formed. The joint research was published in the Astrophysical Journal.

Dove Barker, lead author at UCL says: "The solar wind is a flow of gas at millions of degrees and in a magnetic field, [the solar wind] embraces Earth and other planets. This flux fills the entire solar system and connects the magnetic fields of KDA and other planets. Changes in the fast-flying solar wind can create disturbances in space near the Earth and in our upper atmosphere, yet we do not know what activates this flux."

"But our latest research suggests that it is the release of a reservoir of energy in the solar magnetic field that provides the additional trigger for the solar wind. This magnetic energy that is released is found mainly in the bright and active areas on the surface of the sun, they are called activity areas or sunspot clusters, which are a strong concentration of magnetic field. We believe that this fundamental process occurs everywhere in the Sun at all scale levels.”

Images taken in February 2007 with Hinoda's spectrometer show that hot plasma streams occur because of this process. At the edges of the activity areas where the process takes place, slow and continuous changes in the structure of the magnetic field lead to the release of energy and the acceleration of particles into the hot outer atmosphere of the sun, known as the corona.

The researchers used computer models of the sun's magnetic field in order to identify the areas where the process occurs. The areas proposed by the computer model were compared to measurements of the gas velocity coming from the corona region of the Sun. The comparison showed that the gas moved outwards at a speed of 150 thousand km/h. 1000 times faster than the wind speed in a hurricane.

  1. Energy transitions between fields are characterized by "eruption" reconnection or "magnetic fusion" processes.
As soon as the accumulated energy reaches a critical point then it is released and transferred through lines of force that "open" to another field, the process is characterized by antipodality.
separatrix - is a mathematical term that refers to the boundaries that separate 2 states of behavior in dynamic systems or in short the reference is to the space outside the existing field.

  2. Asks,

In the original article in the Astrophysical Journal
    http://www.iop.org/EJ/abstract/0004-637X/705/1/926/

    spoken:
we demonstrate that the outflows originate from specific locations of the magnetic topology where field lines display strong gradients of magnetic connectivity, namely quasi-separatrix layers (QSLs),

Meaning that they found a high gradient (change) in the magnetic field lines in areas of high activity. In solar storms what happens is that the poles and the equator are not synchronized in their rotation speed and this creates the solar bursts that splash into space.

The innovation here is that they found (or rather confirmed) another characteristic of the magnetic field, which they call Quasi Spatrix which causes a faster change.

  3. Maybe enough with this idiot already?
For some reason there are those who take advantage of the fact that a fool is answered as his folly in order to condescend to others.

If you could explain what is meant by "releasing a reservoir of energy in the magnetic field" that would be nice.
To me it doesn't mean much, that is, in what form the stored energy, why it decides to be released, something with a little more... meaning.
An example answer: "The SDF causes an accumulation of ionized particles in one area, and when the pressure reaches... they overcome it and are ejected..." This was of course completely blown up and was only intended to clarify the question.

Regarding "Gonnon". It's actually amusing, and the site is so full of people who say thank you that it ended after 7 messages and not 70 (I at least despair when there are more than 10 messages in such stupid arguments).

  5. Maybe enough with this idiot. You are all welcome to respond to the article instead of these endless teases.

No wonder you are ashamed to identify yourself.
I haven't read such nonsense like yours in a long time.
    Keep us entertained!

  7. Dear Doss, note that you are not blocked unlike ultra-Orthodox websites where if someone brings a scientific finding - even if it is true - they will be blocked immediately.
On the other hand, if you don't want to have conversations with the site editor, then please move them to another site where you agree with the editor's opinion.

On the one hand, if your words that there is a creator of the world are true, then it does not seem that he needs you to come and prove his existence. On the other hand, if it does not exist, then it is certain that your "proof" is in vain. Hence, the "proof" you bring is nothing more than your personal-private need.
Now I have a question for you: why do you need proof of the existence of "the Holy One, blessed be He"? Have there been cracks in your religious faith? Are you trying to atone and hide and cover the cracks in your faith, by bringing up various proofs of something that cannot be proven? (But on the other hand, it cannot be denied either).

  9. Lavi Blizovsky 'the wise'

For your personal knowledge, a substance that decays (the sun) should not take a long time to disappear

According to your answer, it should be understood that the sun needs to go on a diet for another 4-5 billion
years so I want to tell you!

There is no need to have conversations with people, like you, who are looking for (false) theories and (wrong) hypotheses and are (vehemently) opposed to Judaism

And I'm sure that it doesn't matter to you what I want and what I don't want and it's none of your business
    The private

Go find and prove the bubble that you are in in a "different" place

Explain to students or your child your "extensive knowledge"

  10. Indeed the sun is decaying, wait another 4-5 billion years and it will consume most of the hydrogen and turn it into helium. Or then it will swell, become a red giant that the Earth will probably move within or within its boundaries. And eventually the shell will fly into space and remain a white dwarf, until it fades.
Such events are happening all the time everywhere in the sky. In case it is a star much more massive than our sun, the result will be a supernova and it may become (in various intermediate degrees) a neutron star or even a black hole depending on the original mass it had.
So if you want proof of something that has no proof, look elsewhere.

  11. Speaking of the sun

The sun is one of the strongest proofs that there is a creator of the world

Because it doesn't make sense that matter (a star made of fire and very high temperature) doesn't decay or shrink slowly
