A small asteroid passed close to Earth

A newly discovered asteroid named 2009 VA, which was about seven meters in size, passed about fourteen thousand kilometers from the Earth's surface on November XNUMXth. This is the third near-Earth transit known (that did not cause damage) from the collection of recorded asteroids.

The two closest asteroid passes include the one-meter asteroid 2008 TS26, which passed about 6150 km from Earth on October 2008, 2004, and the seven-meter asteroid 162 FU6535, which passed about 2004 km from Earth on October XNUMX, XNUMX. and one in March XNUMX. On average, objects the size of the new asteroid pass the Earth at such distances twice a year and make contact with it once every five years.

The asteroid 2009 VA was discovered by the Catalina Sky Survey (a project designed to discover comets and asteroids and to search for objects approaching the Earth, and in particular, the project focuses on the search for potentially hazardous asteroids (PHAs) and which may hit the Earth) about five - Ten hours before its approach to the Earth and was soon identified by the Minor Planet Center located in the city of Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA as an object that is soon to pass very close to the Earth.

The Near-Earth Object Program Office operating at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) also calculated the trajectory of this object and determined that it should not hit the Earth.

Just thirteen months ago, the slightly smaller object named 2008 TC3 was discovered under similar circumstances, but it is on a direct path to Earth with an impact only eleven hours away from discovery.

There is already written material on organic mathematics on Gan Adam's website.
I can elaborate here if necessary

If you wrote transcendental state of consciousness then yes
This is the direction for mediation that is possible today
Between the Western concept of science and the Eastern concept of consciousness

  2. Moses
To say that "time is only an invention of man" is similar to blurring the basic distinction between day and night and including them in the category of human "invention". It is clear that man is not capable of inventing the laws of nature just as he cannot invent the heartbeats. At most he can count, count, calculate to write down, to remember, thus defining the time according to its periodical-cultural reference, which is *achieved, like different and changing quorum tables.
Also, you wrote: "Actually there is only one present time which is continuous". Your words imply a concept called "eternity" - infinity, in which there is no definite time and ironically it is associated with the land of truth or the land of the dead.
If you referred to a "living and breathing case" did you mean a transcendental state of consciousness or ecstatic states of experience? Because even such states do not last forever, which as mentioned is without measurement and therefore they will return at some point to enumerate existing or otherwise.
As far as I know "without measurement there is no science".

  3. Moshe:
And in relation to your answer to Anonymous: all scientists grapple with the question and none of them will claim to know the answer.
    do you know her
Can you point to an experiment that disproves the claim that time changes?

  4. Moshe:
Regarding your response 39 - it is not correct.
    I quote your response 36:
"My theory is that in 2010 the world will accept the change in the perception of the language of mathematics."
Your theory - as you presented it - speaks of the fact that the world will accept the change of perception of the language of mathematics.
This prevents the division you presented into two questions.
In fact, from your words it was not clear that you even have a theory about what the new concept should be.
I'm not saying that you don't have such a theory, but it's clear that you've never presented it here, and it's also clear that not presenting the theory is not the optimal way of trying to get the world to accept it.

  5. Anonymous user (unidentified) Hello

I'm not sure you directed the question specifically to me
So maybe I'm busting through the wrong door

    Anyway about your question
Time is just a human invention
There really is no such thing as time!!

There is actually only one present tense
    which is continuous

  6. Michael

In my opinion, the two questions should be separated:

    1) Is my theory correct?
    2) Will the mathematical world recognize the change in the perception of mathematics?

  7. What does "the dimension of time will disappear as if it never existed" mean?
    ,then what ?

  8. Hi Michael,

    I got your message, anyway.
My theory is that in 2010 the world will accept the change of perception of the language of mathematics.
I am glad you have returned to our discussion of Ramanujan. I will try to think of your beautiful riddles as well.

  9. 1. On a galactic scale (Milky Way) the tail does not see the head. If you think or imagine as if the head entered a black hole 2157+ years ago - and the tail automatically makes sure to swallow or enter. We, as an internal system within the solar system, according to the marks of time, All in all, the last metastases of the rule of transition within it, or through it.

  10. By the way, Moshe:
The joke was not without a message.
I always emphasize the fact that it is impossible to prove a scientific theory and that the only thing you can do is to put it to the test of the experiment which, according to the results, will disprove or confirm it.
This seems like a pitiful state of all theories because theories are meant to predict the future but the only way to verify them is to show that they were right in the past.
This is also true for the theory that there is no black hole that we will meet in 2012

  11. Moshe:
    It is not a condition.
It is only intended to encourage people (especially those like Ron who have no green idea what mathematics is, but also other people) to think that before they express an opinion in a discussion about the training of mathematicians, it is desirable that they know what mathematics is.
Of course, solving these puzzles will enrich everyone

  12. Michael

I understood now. So no problem at all
Listen, sometimes it takes me a while to understand jokes
Especially if they don't tell me it's a joke.
So I might take it a little hard.

By the way, I read the 2 beautiful mathematical puzzles about the pauon that lacks a ball and the series of numbers
Is putting the solution in your view the condition for the continuation of the discussion about Ramanujan.

  13. Moshe:
    For the avoidance of doubt:
The intention in response 26 was to joke.
For some reason you decided to turn the joked part into a topic.

  14. Note that a person who is cynical can step on a mistake
On a beautiful flower that is at his feet.

What do you mean by puns?
Doesn't science use language to describe real results?
Can a naked truth be considered a real result in your eyes..

  15. Hurry hurry….

I hope your new approach to science also has real results to show off and not just word games

  16. Good morning Michael

Good to meet you here too in the discussion after the discussion .. about Ramanujan.

Please note that I wrote "It is impossible to prove that the Earth will not pass through the orbit of a black hole in 2012"

In 2013, will you really be able to prove that the earth will not move? [Assuming we don't go through a black hole..]

Accuracy regarding the subject of time is precisely the gateway to the new concept of science/mathematics

  17. Moshe Klein:
I will not refer to the new religion that I think you are trying to found, but in relation to the proof that the earth will not pass through the orbit of a black hole in 2012 - if it is true, it can be proven.
It's just going to take quite a while (until 2013, to be exact).

  18. indeed so peace. It is impossible to prove that the Earth will not pass through the orbit of a black hole in 2012. That is why it was important for me to find out the point..

Regarding Newton, not only do I disagree with his final calculations, but I allow myself to question the value of the concept of mathematics that he led, which consisted of an attempt to describe the universe through mathematical equations and models. You are prompted to visit my site (by clicking on my name above). Einstein's theory of relativity was a first step when man was seen as part of the world of phenomena. The next step will be to develop mathematics accordingly.

The end of time according to the Mayan calendar which will be in 2012, may well serve as an inspiration to develop science without the usual concept of time. (For example, the revolution Shikir Aharonov is leading in physics today)
If all this happens then the earth will enter not into a black hole but into a bright hole!

  19. Moshe Klein, you are right. You should have figured it out from the start.
Although it was much more entertaining that way.
Regarding Newton, your relevant link states that Newton came to the conclusion "according to the book of Daniel".
In addition, the same article mentions Newton's practice of magic and alchemy, so that, as you understand, although it is Newton, and the size of his honor ensures that he will always be placed in his place, you should not attribute too much to this calculation.

  20. If a person knows that he is going to die soon then he has a lot to do about it.
I'm under the impression now that the point about entering a black hole is actually a joke of a point.
By the way, Isaac Newton himself spent a lot of time calculating when the end of the world would occur.
In his calculations, he also arrived at an approximate date, which I think is different from 2012.

  21. point. If it is important, then instead of looking for knowledge,
Maybe direct us here directly to the relevant site.
Because you have an interested audience

  22. There is a black hole in the orbit of the solar system around the galaxy. I have seen simulations that show that in 2012 it will swallow us. But everyone is silent, so who am I to find out.

  23. Depending on what materials it is made of, one way or another there will be little of it left by the time it reaches KDA, if at all.. a global disaster will not result from this..

  24. Question for those in the know -
Will an asteroid rock with a diameter of 7 meters that enters the atmosphere hit the Earth's surface or will it disintegrate and burn up entirely in the atmosphere? If it hits, what diameter crater is it likely to create?

  25. Leshahar - the asteroid that supposedly destroyed the dinosaurs, was about ten kilometers in diameter, compared to the one that passed by today, which was a total of 7 meters in diameter. According to your quote "there are no asteroids the size of the one that wiped out the dinosaurs". An asteroid with a diameter of 7 m cannot destroy the world (unless it moves at a very, very high speed).

  26. Wait a minute... do you actually understand what that means? We hear of astronomers who sneer and say that it is possible (maybe) that an object will hit the earth (let's just say in 2012, a total of one year). And they say that it is not possible, and that we know about all the objects that are supposed to reach our direction. Only recently they published an article here about answers to common questions about Nibirio, etc. This is what the astronomer there had to say: "We were also able to determine that there are no asteroids the size of the one that wiped out the dinosaurs. This work is done with openness and the observations are uploaded every day to NASA's NEO website, so that everyone can see for themselves that there is no prediction of an impact in 2012."
now what? They are barely able to find out 15 hours before the impact. How exactly can they know what will happen in 3 years?

So this is actually our technology now? So if one of these arrives, which indeed will be on a collision course with us, we won't be able to do anything to prevent it from harming us. Not to send a spacecraft, which will affect him with its gravitation, to divert his trajectory.

  27. 15 hours for discovery is really not enough time for anything...
And why Kibnimat in all the movies all the disasters happen in Manhattan and not in Iran?

  28. In 2012 we will no longer be able to say "the black hole passed by the Earth".
And the one who understands will understand.
