The Chinese spacecraft Shenzhou-10 with three astronauts on board will return to Earth on Wednesday at eight in the morning China time (three in the morning Israel time), after successfully detaching from the Tiangong-1 experimental space station, circling and manually connecting to it. This was reported by the control center in Beijing. This is reported by the Chinese government news agency Xinhua.
The lap and connection experiment is defined as successful. This was the first time that China conducted an experiment of this kind. Following the separation from Tiangong-1, this morning (07:05 Beijing time, 02:05 Israel time), the manned spacecraft Shenzhou-10 changed a trajectory that allowed it to circle the space station module. After a series of commands from the ground, Shenzhou-10 adjusted its position and flew behind Tiangong-1 and then its crew re-connected with the module. This officially ended the spacecraft's mission.
About two hours earlier, astronauts Ni Yisheng, Zhang Xiaoguang, and Wang Yiping locked the doors with Tiangong-1 and returned to the Shenzhou-10 capsule.
Tiangong-1 has been orbiting Earth since September 29, 2011 and has been previously visited by Shenzhou 9 crew members.

While Shenzhou-10 was launched on June 11, docked at Tiangong-1 automatically and later manually. During the 12 days the astronauts spent on the experimental space station, they performed experiments in space medicine, technical tests of the state of the spacecraft and gave a lesson in basic principles of physics.
Tiangong-1 was raised to a higher orbit.

And in the meantime - a spacewalk on the International Space Station
Two wannabe cosmonauts stepped outside the space station yesterday for a spacewalk. The two, Fyodor Yurchikhin and Alexander Mysorkin replaced a panel containing a flow control valve in the Zarya module, tested the automatic docking cables for the arrival of a Russian spacecraft carrying a new module to the station expected later this year. In addition, they also installed grippers for holding cables that will be installed later, brought electricity from the American component of the station that will supply electricity to the new Russian module.
