It is a fallacy and a false conspiracy that combine to instill fear. Automation will allow life to be cheaper to finance and will allow the introduction of products that currently do not reach low levels due to their expensive production process (which requires flesh and blood hands). Also, food processing will be more efficient and therefore also cheaper - which of course can alleviate world hunger.
