By 2025, robots will replace people in jobs that do not involve skill and education

A report, prepared by the American National Intelligence Council, predicts that robots will be used by us in industry, on the battlefield, in the service of people - and will revolutionize the labor markets and immigration patterns in the world ● Are the prophecies of Isaac Asimov coming true?

According to a report by the US National Intelligence Council, Robots may replace people In positions that do not involve skill or education, to disrupt the balance in the labor markets, to change immigration patterns in the world, but also to contribute a lot in military, social, economic and political aspects. By 2025, the report states, May the robots be so skilled, that the question "Do you have a club card?" may be heard from a smiling machine near the cash register, and on the battlefield "terminators" will fight against the forces of evil. If Isaac Asimov was alive He must have been proud.

In a report entitled "Global Trends 2025: A Changing World", which was published a few days ago, the American NIC (National Intelligence Council), one of the bodies that advises the President of the United States on issues related to national security, presented its strategic vision for the long term The long on political, geographic, military and economic challenges that the US will face against other countries in the next 17 years, as well as on environmental challenges that are expected in the near term. The report also talks about technologies and includes some interesting ideas about the future in relation to robots and robotic technologies.

Many workers around the world have experienced the results of improvements in automation, which has reduced the need for manpower. Several manufacturers in the world are already offering products that provide a hint of what the future will look like. Meanwhile, a year ago a British artificial intelligence researcher, David Levy, published a book ("Love and Sex with Robots"), predicting that by the year 2050 humans They will fall in love with robots and even marry them.

The NIC's report does not describe such a possibility, but it does indicate that robotic technologies will be developed to enhance physical strength, increase productive efficiency and to assist in the care of disabled or elderly people. "The technologies that will enhance human strength," the report describes, "include wearable supplements with mechanical actuators on the hips, elbows, or other joints in the body. These external appendages may be similar to human-like wearable robots, which use sensors, interfaces, energy systems and actuators - which will monitor and respond to the movements of the limbs and provide the wearer with greater power and control" - almost like in the series "The Man Worth Millions".

The researchers envisage service robots for non-productive applications, which will use many technologies, including hardware (such as sensors and energy systems) and advanced software platforms, which will combine Behavioral algorithms with artificial intelligence and will enable a wide range of fully or semi-independent robotic systems that can be controlled remotely.

These technologies, according to the authors of the report, will leverage the efficiency of human personnel, which will result in a great improvement of productive efficiency - due to the reduction in the number of people that will be required to perform a task, or in a greater amount of work that can be performed by one person. Widespread use of robots will reduce industry's dependence on labor, disrupt the balance in labor markets for unskilled labor, and change global immigration patterns by taking over jobs currently performed by foreign workers.

The report also describes that these technologies will allow disabled or elderly people to perform independent actions, and service robots will also provide options for treating disabled or mature populations, as well as for many domestic uses. "Such technologies," adds the report, "will also be able to greatly improve the combat effectiveness of ground forces. As early adopters, governments will be able to provide increased security to their citizens and plan combat forces while reducing manpower and reducing costs.

Despite all the advantages that the robotic technologies promise, the researchers also point out the barriers that may delay their development or their use. The authors of the report mention high production costs in the face of uncertainty regarding returns, the development of reliable economic models, technological achievements (especially mobile energy sources and artificial intelligence), problems of integration and standards, cultural hesitancy against deteriorating into an "unnatural" path of human development, and of course Fears of unknown outcomes.

  1. Who are the wicked? And who are the best?
And who determines who the wicked are?
Answer - the powerful will determine who the wicked are.
The powerful, who have a mighty army, and deadly industries that manufacture weapons. They will determine who the wicked are, and they will always win, and destroy the "wicked".
The war between the strong sons of light and the weak sons of darkness.
If this is true, because then Nazi Germany, the powerful, were the good guys.

There will be no uneducated populations, such a process will simultaneously require a dramatic lowering of the birth rate and birth control until a situation where the world's population balances with its ability to meet its needs.
Of course there will be those who will think that birth control is directed against them and then in any case there will be a war that will significantly reduce the world's population.
Those who give up will have robots who fought for them converted to rebuild the world,
Only then will the birthrate be limited again, and a couple who will have a child will be able to provide him with an excellent education without any problem.

    Just a thought

Then what will those people who are uneducated work for?
This prediction is unfounded because the state creates projects and enterprises in order for the uneducated to have employment, in case that class does not have a job it will ferment and hence the path to revolution is short (the French Revolution, the overthrow of the Tsar in Russia, etc.), therefore most scientific predictions of this type that do not take into account social phenomena are out of place Beautiful in the lab but not beyond that.
Also, similar predictions were also predicted in the 60s and people still work in factories on production lines...

  4. I could own a factory (what do I care about the workers, who will take machine oil and shut up). If that doesn't work, I'll send the robot to rob a bank.

The movie "For a liter of oil" will be about the Shakim gang (I have another dream of being the head of a crime family).

I will be the "parasite" on the back of the Keshi robots today

  5. Blessed in my opinion. I oppose the approach that says that automation and technology are pushing people to the point where work is taken away from people. It is a fallacy and a false conspiracy that combine to instill fear. Automation will allow life to be cheaper to finance and will allow the introduction of products that currently do not reach low levels due to their expensive production process (which requires flesh and blood hands). Also, food processing will be more efficient and therefore also cheaper - which of course can alleviate world hunger.

Automation will allow more leisure and quality time for the average person and will reduce the need for unscrupulous human trafficking for slavery purposes.

    hoping for a better future,
