Prof. Dan Bloomberg, the vice president and dean for research and development at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and who headed the development of the Venus satellite, was elected as a member at the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) . Every year the Academy selects a new batch of personalities who have demonstrated an extraordinary contribution in the fields of astronautics and space science as fellows of the Academy. Its members include key figures in space agencies, leading space engineers, prominent scientists in space research and outstanding people who work at the interface between space and society.

Prof. Dan Blumberg heads the Remote Sensing and Planetary Imaging Laboratory at Ben-Gurion University. He joined the university faculty at the end of 1995 as a young researcher after completing a doctorate at the University of Arizona in Phoenix in the field of planetary geology; He leads groundbreaking research in the field of remote sensing, in which observation systems installed on satellites and aircraft are used to study the Earth or other planets. In addition, Prof. Blumberg served as a co-researcher in a radar laboratory installed on a space shuttle and engaged in research on the ability to use radar systems and hyperspectral systems to study the environment. Prof. Bloomberg stands at the head The Center for Homeland Security (Homeland Security).

His research interests include remote sensing for environmental research, geology and planetary geomorphology, use of remote sensing for agriculture, detection and tracking of anomalies in radar and hyperspectral imaging, studying environmental processes in Central Asia by means of remote sensing and MRI.

The International Academy of Astronautics, based in Paris, was founded in Stockholm in 1960. It brings together the world's leading experts in the fields of astronautics and space. The Academy works to promote and develop astronautics and space research, locates prominent scientists whose work relates to the field, and provides them with tools that will enable them to contribute to international efforts to advance space science. Among other things, the academy publishes the prestigious journal Acta Astronautica, which deals with developments in space science technology and their uses for humanity, produces conferences around the world and leads collaborations with astronautical organizations and space agencies.

  1. Know that wisdom is of two kinds, one is inner wisdom and the other is outer wisdom, and here it is fitting that the children of Israel should not become wise except from the holy inner wisdom because they are close to the holy that they are made in the image and likeness of God. And these were kosher and worthy, the inner wisdom would have stood up to them, but they corrupted and spoiled and distanced themselves from the inner and did not come to the outer that was not theirs, and for that the demons are wise in the outer wisdom because they are outer and by their nature they are very close to it and more and more by the nature of humans who are kosher in the inner wisdom, because the inner is very high And the exterior is very inferior, and the demons are thin and worthy (and close) to [the value of] that external wisdom, although human beings are far from the upper wisdom because it is very high, and from the side of dressing with material they have become far away and from the side of iniquity they have become very far away (because) [until] they are ignored (because of Khmer), except for those who justify themselves:
