As part of the open day, workshops will be held for candidates who are debating what to study under the guidance of professional advisors from the Academic Counseling Center of the Dean of Students. The center also offers candidates free access to the library of information about the world of professions.
Liquid nitrogen ice cream
The academic units of Tel Aviv University will hold a rich activity on the open day that includes information sessions, topical lectures, scientific experiments, tours and more. For example, in the Faculty of Exact Sciences it will be illustrated how ice cream is made with liquid nitrogen,
In the Faculty of Engineering it will be possible to visit sophisticated laboratories, in the Faculty of Humanities a lecture will be given on the "Arab Spring - two years later" and in the Faculty of Arts there will be open classes and film screenings.

With the opening of university registration, Tel Aviv University launched a new registration website and updated its Facebook page for applicants and the university's Twitter. On the open day there will be a prize-bearing competition on Instagram where visitors are invited to take photos from the open day and tag them under #tauopenday.
