"BBQ"

Passover has passed and so has Independence Day. We haven't had time to breathe and it's getting close to Lag Baumer. Until Shavuot, the air around us will take a little time to clean itself, until the next time the smell of burnt meat will disappear, the smell of the burnt meat of a holiday and a holiday rising from every piece of drying grass from every square, from every beach

The "picnic" became the national pastime. The smoke of the "barbecues" and the smell of burning meat became a symbol of the celebrations. Burning meat in the open has become an official way in which the Israelites celebrate and those who have a book will check, see and hear how the best means of communication first suggest where to buy meat and then what are the appropriate and best places where it can be burned. And even a special name was determined for the unique form of entertainment for our holidays... "on the fire"! The best of our "sages" explain to your people how and where to purchase the appropriate products, how and where it is best to "do it on the fire", and the people listen, drink in the whole set of instructions and instructions and follow them, each according to his ability and understanding. Perhaps there is nothing wrong with this (except for the air pollution) if the celebrations did not end in Sipa, if after the celebration one does not witness what remains in the field.

The Israelites showed once again that they know how to celebrate, rejoice and pollute their surroundings. Before I continue, it would be correct to separate - travelers from "cookers", since among the former the awareness is increasing and accordingly there is an improvement in their behavior. This is not the case with these "mafkenakim" who continue the tradition of pollution without any improvement, that is why the announcements of the various bodies after Pesach are strange and misleading that: "The travelers left less trash in the nature than previous burnings... Only so and so tons of waste were collected in the forests and reserves", "a lower number than the previous years... which shows an improvement", isn't it? Improvement in what? How can spreading garbage in the area be considered an improvement, even if the quantities are less? How can throwing plastic bags to the wind be considered an improvement? How is the improvement in the fact that there are not so many "plastic fruits" on the trees? How can spraying paint on rock walls in reserves and open space be considered an improvement?

I have already written in the past that part of the blame stems from the fact that we are new here, to the extent that many do not see and understand that here, also outside, also in the fields, also in the reserves, on the beaches in the capitals and in the squares, is our home? Another part of the blame lies with the authorities: those who spread garbage containers in the open, those who place garbage cans on an unregulated beach, as if informing the audience: there is no need to take the waste you created back to the car, we will clean up after you, and then, there are "nice guys" who collect and concentrate the garbage in bags , near the floating container, there are less nice ones who leave the bags where they sat, and there are not nice ones at all who don't even bother to pick up what they spilled and leave the place after a garbage collector. These also cause damage, they all pollute and pollute the same place where they sat, spent time, enjoyed, celebrated and were happy?

Perhaps whenever and wherever the advocates of "on fire" open their mouths they should begin and end with the sentence "Did you put all the trash back in the car?" Why aren't all the celebrants able to take their trash to their car, after all when they left the car they carried all the groceries, the weight of the trash is much less and the volume of waste is also small. Why is it so hard to carry it all the way to the garbage can that stands on your street? Like taking the trash out of your house.

After all, this country is between you, its fields, its groves, its beaches, its reserves and even its streets and squares in its cities, so whoever pollutes the streets of the country pollutes his house despite all the bitterness and the step. Like the corner of the barbecue where they burned meat, I can't believe that their bedroom looks like the place where their tent stood. I don't believe that the interior of the house of all those partying, partying and polluting people is not kept clean, so why not keep the whole house clean as well? Is it because during the holiday it is allowed otherwise?

This is how the Israelites celebrate: they burn meat and scatter garbage all around them!
Happy holiday!

  1. I spoke in general, it's a shame you didn't understand the message and got caught up in nonsense
All in all, I said that Independence Day was and is over and the contamination, if any, has already passed and been forgotten

And if there were better infrastructure and better utilization of the municipality's resources, pollution would decrease by dozens of percent.
    Just like response #1 claimed

And my second comment meant that the comments here sound like "oh oh oh" and all this begging is annoying and as you were annoyed by what I said as above I, why are most of the comments here only looking for self-pity and not looking for solutions.

    love everybody
We will meet at the campfires of LG Baumer - and try to keep it clean

  2. Oh, and I forgot about the educated... hahahahaha I really don't think so...
There is no way you are educated after this kind of speech and attitude towards people you don't know.

  3. Haha, actually a secular and educated guy
You've made me enough for today, stop blabbering on the net please

  4. You are happy…. ? Well done as expected from a common Israeli.. what does it matter once a year.. it's not my fault.. that one is my fault only once a year.

Umm, don't talk about garbage in the streets...you probably have a problem with reading comprehension..

I understand that you are a religious guy according to your pig answer..
And quite prone to conflicts according to the taxes and property tax..

You know the one above also discusses the small things...
    Everything is recorded..

  5. I'm glad I managed to annoy you :)
Nothing happened if there is some garbage in the streets, there are many people who make this their livelihood
We won't be able to prevent the next ice age or global warming or whatever you want and I'm sure that one day a year won't change anything

Speaking of racism then let's get on with it, all the pigs that are raised so that you can feast on them with a full belly pollute the earth more than anything else

Personally, I collect all the garbage that has accumulated in the area where we stayed and a little beyond and throw it in the trash, and I hope that more people will do the same

We are all human, we all want to enjoy ourselves, that's why we are burdened with taxes, property taxes and entrance fees.

    In conclusion
It's not what will kill us for now

  6. For those who care:
Come and join the "Cleaning Trustees" array.
A cleaning trustee certificate allows a report to be given to those who throw waste in the public domain.

  7. Idan... what does it have to do with Ashkenazim? You talk quite racist...
Believe me I do better on the fire than you and the celebration is better
From you and with such talk, you are probably frustrated, but very much!!!

You didn't talk about the smoke and the air or you didn't read... because it didn't interest you,
Only your ego is hurt because there are claims here that you simply do not understand..
    Come down Alec….

  8. What are you whining about????
Independence Day is a day of spending time with the whole family and the people,
So there is some air pollution that disappears in a few hours
If the government or the mayors would really invest in the Mingul areas instead of their distracting fireworks... you don't need 10 minutes of fireworks after 2 minutes you get the point

So instead of being an Ashkenazi and looking at everyone from your penhouz and complaining that all the smoke rises to the height of the apartment
Come down a little and join in the celebration

  9. Ronella, we wish you to also hold other events such as your wedding and the other milestones of your children with controlled austerity.

  10. Indeed, Independence Day has become Lag Ba'Omer - fire and so much smoke that you can hardly breathe
The culture of greed and gluttony is disgusting and repulsive and indicates the wretched human level of a large part of the population which is also expressed in other areas: poor education, crime, violence

  11. Why are you surprised at the indifference of Israelis?

    Why does anyone care?

I was in mountainous Jordan for about 10 years in a nature corner...
Personally, I have always loved nature, so I demanded that they conduct a scan on the level of difference, there were a company there who did not understand at all what I wanted and why...so I tried to explain to them, but go ahead and explain to a blind person what color is.
It is a reduction of the head to the level of repression.
OBLIVIOUS IS BLISS? That's the only thing that comes to mind...

  12. To Dr. Assaf Rosenthal
You were right when you distinguished between "hikers" and "barbecues".
In my opinion, making bonfires and barbecues, in nature, in general and in nature reserves, in particular, should be completely prohibited.
At the same time, the "Mingol" sites must be trained to a higher level such as: more large garbage cans, more faucets, more toilets, more tables and even more access roads and car parks. In this way, the Mingol sites will be concentrated in places that will be prepared for this, such as: Ben-Sheman Forest (YVS), Yehoshua Gardens Park (PagoSh), Yokneam Groves ("Hor-Yok"), Giva Shisim and Nine Groves ("No Season") and much more . The crowd of barbecuers will flock to the Mingul sites, for reasons of accessibility and convenience, while the reserves and national gardens will be given up, to the lovers of nature and travel and the flora and fauna they will preserve.
