Scientists have discovered a system of planets - very similar to the solar system

Astronomers: If there is water on the surface of these planets, there may be life on their surface

Astronomers discovered a system of planets, in the center of which two planets were observed moving around a star similar to the sun in its chemical composition. The planetary system was discovered in the constellation known as "The Big Dipper". This is what the "Washington Post" newspaper reports today (Thursday).

According to the astronomers, the circular orbits and dimensions of the two planets suggest the presence of smaller celestial bodies, similar to Earth, moving in more inner orbits.

It also appears from the report that if these planets do exist and if there is water on their surface, there may be thriving life on their surface. According to the scientists, even if there is no life on the planets, the discovery encourages and raises hopes that eventually star systems will be discovered where there are planets whose conditions on their surface are similar to the conditions of the Earth.

"Of all the solar star systems we've discovered so far, this is the star system most similar to our own solar system," said Debra Fisher, an astronomer at the University of California, Berkeley. According to the scientists, the planets observed orbiting the star at the heart of the system are large, gaseous stars, similar to Jupiter.
