The study reinforces the importance of folic acid in a healthy diet and directly links folic acid deficiency to colon cancer.

Researchers have known for years that the lack of foate, from the group of B vitamins often referred to as folic acid, increases the risk of various diseases and birth defects, pregnant women whotook Folic acid halved the premature birth. Following various studies published over the years, many food manufacturers enriched food products with folate.

As the studies continued, the scientists discovered that the lack of folate has a greater effect on the human body and increases the risk of colon cancer in older people.

However, the researchers never understood the connection between folic acid and the human body and how exactly it affects genes, proteins and cancer cells.

In a new study published in the Journal of Proteome Research, scientists grew colon cells in tissue cultures with and without folate. During the research they discovered that the lack of folate caused defects in the DNA and subsequently creates biological changes that are directly related to an increase in the risk of cancer.

The aforementioned eraser proves that the lack of folic acid causes defects in the DNA, and these in turn affect the cells and increase the risk of cancer. For the first time a study directly links low levels of folic acid to the risk of colon cancer.

It is said that Shakespeare's plays were not written by Shakespeare himself but by another person who had the same name 🙂

  3. Why are you told on this site?
There's really no need, but it was interesting what happens to men in this regard and which foods make this important contribution to nutrition.

  4. They wrote to you that this is the summary of the study. If you are interested in numbers go to research.
