The US-Israel Education Foundation, which administers Fulbright in Israel, the most prestigious and important academic exchange program of the US government, awarded on May 29, 2005 the Fulbright scholarships for 2005 to the most promising young people in Israel

The US-Israel Education Foundation, which administers Fulbright in Israel, the most prestigious and important academic exchange program of the US government, awarded on May 29, 2005 the Fulbright scholarships for 2005 to the most promising young people in Israel.

Past winners of Fulbright scholarships include: Aharon Barak, Aharon Chachanover, AB Yehoshua, Itamar Rabinovitch, Ilana Dayan, Uzi Landau and Yair Orgler.
Additional facts: Fulbright Foundation (www.fulbright.org.il) is the scholarship to which the most academics in the world enroll, with only a small and exclusive number accepted.
Already 24 Fulbright-Israel graduates have won the Israel Prize - 4 have won this year (Prof. Yehezkel Dror, Prof. Yaakov Landau, Prof. Sasson Somech and writer Yitzhak Averbuch-Orpaz)
4 out of 7 university presidents in Israel are Fulbright graduates.
At this meeting, where the scholarships were distributed to outstanding academics, it was said that the Fulbright program, which works for cooperation between the Israeli Academy and the American Academy, helps speed up the successful completion of research, the results of which are implemented through the establishment of enterprises with high economic chances of success in Israel.
