M.H.R. Conference - Rational Freedom Science
On Thursday, January 10, 2013, there will be a M.H.R conference symbolizing the aspiration for science, freedom and rationality.
People from all over the country are expected to participate in the conference, including the big names in the media, Gadi Soknik and Uri Mashgav, Rabbi Avi Pascal, evolution researcher Prof. Yoel Rak, Prof. Mia Bar-Hillel from the research on the biblical cipher and many others.

For six hours, there will be 22 panels, workshops, activities and lectures conducted by about 30 public figures and academics.

The conference was held on the initiative of a group of young men and women from scientific communities, skeptical communities and secular communities that also operates on social networks and has turned from a community meeting place for young people - into one of the largest and most important conferences in the country. This, after realizing that there are many issues that threaten the democratic and secular character of the State of Israel, from the exclusion of women to homophobia to expressions of hatred against the skeptical/atheist community.

The conference aims to bring the people closer to science and fight the systematic exclusion that currently exists in the education system at all levels in the study of important subjects such as evolution studies.
In addition, the conference aims to clarify that the atheist community on Facebook, which began to gain momentum in the last year thanks to successful pages such as "Nice to meet atheists" and "Jehovah", is a community with a strong voice.

The goals of the conference organizers are to encourage science studies in schools, to fight the hatred directed at non-believers, to fight the exclusion of women, to demand equal rights and equal duties and the main goal - to separate religion from the state.
