Recently, bedbugs of a type were discovered in the country that so far are only found in warmer regions such as America and Africa
Discovery of a population of green bugs in London is proof of global warming. So claims Max Barkley, who is responsible for the collection of insects at the Natural History Museum in London.
The insect, Nezara viridula, lives for the most part in warm areas of the Americas and Africa, and has not been found so far in cool Britain. According to Berkley, three types of the insect were recently found in Britain, which indicate that the climate in the country has changed in the last 50 years, and especially in the last three to four years.
The insect, known as the stink bug, due to the distinct smell it emits, is known to destroy agricultural crops in areas where it is common. It is also considered a delicacy in Mexican and African cuisine
