Shlomo Gerdman, general chairman of ChipEx2018, says: "In the last year, the chip industry has experienced significant renewal and growth in the number of new companies added to it. The growth is due to a number of new markets that have been added to the automotive, IOT, and wearable computing markets. These are the fascinating fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning, which is why we put an emphasis on this field this year. This is another important growth engine for the chip industry that encourages the establishment of companies and the development of modern computing resources. I am happy and proud that we were able to secure the participation of the senior experts who will come to the ChipEx2018 conference from all over the globe.

About 100 companies supplying components, tools and services, from the USA, Germany, Italy, France, Great Britain, Russia, the Netherlands, Belgium, India, Japan, China and Taiwan, will present at the exhibition innovative tools and services offered to the local microelectronics industry.

About 1,500 people from the industry are expected to participate in the conference, including engineers, development managers, vice presidents, CEOs of companies in the field of microelectronics, venture capital investors and professional experts for the industry.

The ChipEx2018 conference is organized by ISG Ltd. in collaboration with SIA - the industry association in the USA, and SEMI - the international association of the chip industry.

All the professional lectures at ChipEx2018 were selected by a professional steering committee consisting of senior academics and industry members headed by Prof. Ran Ginosar, Head of the Research Center for VLSI Systems at the Technion and professional chairman of ChipEx2018. Following the discussion held by the steering committee, Prof. Ran Ginosar said: "This year we chose to present at the conference a series of modern tools as well as the most innovative and interesting technologies that will help industrial engineers develop the next generation of chips. This year we also dedicated several dedicated courses to the hot topics in the industry, including the field of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, automation, the Internet of Things (IOT) and data security in hardware (HW Security). From the many requests received, we chose the best ones and I am happy to allow the people in the industry to learn about These innovations through their presentation at ChipEx2018″.
