Ben-Gurion University announces the renewal of the research agreement between it and the University of Johannesburg. These days the universities signed an agreement to continue joint research in water purification and converting algae into energy.

This agreement includes principles of academic freedom and aims to promote the universities as a space for holding discussions and debates, as well as forums for encouraging adherence to religious belief, freedom of thought and opinion.

In a statement on behalf of Ben-Gurion University, it was said: "We encourage this collaboration between the two universities with the goal of building bridges and striving for cross-border excellence. We are sure that the shared energy and passion of the researchers involved in the project will lead to results that will have a direct impact on the supply of clean water in South Africa. This will even contribute to the formation of a close-knit group of scientists in South Africa."

Ben-Gurion University expressed satisfaction with the fact that scientists from UCLA and Ghent University also agreed to join these research programs, in collaboration with the University of Johannesburg. The expansion of this project highlights the global openness to academic research that raises the bar of striving for excellence and promoting common goals.

  1. My feelings are similar to Adi's and it annoys me that they blocked the article that Adi linked to further comments.
I really feel like saying something like that to them.

  2. Zero because they did this stupid boycott in the first place, and zero because they didn't have the backbone to persist in their stupidity (if you're already doing nonsense supposedly for ideological reasons, then at least be determined to persist in it), which shows that the whole thing from the beginning was meant for public relations and nothing more and that's why The third is to call them zeros (the fact that there is a time difference of 3 and a half months between the two decisions rules out "disenchantment" of the kind you are talking about, Avi).

  3. Adi, why zeros, boycotts are a matter for children, adults who do boycotts are a sign that they have not matured. The academic boycotts are only a symptom of the attempt to eliminate the State of Israel. No less, and this was done under the joint leadership of Iran on the one hand and delusional organizations in Europe on the left and right. It is not for nothing that a boycott against Israel is illegal in the US, and Europe is also starting to get sober.

  4. The improper boycott must be curbed, and this should be seen as a prevention of Israel's isolation. Another point in the fight.
It is understandable that there is today South Africa's unity with the Arab League, and an aversion to Israel which it shared
Action with apartheid. Today the state there is hostile to the Jews - there is a large influx from there. and Israel in particular.
