The Plenum of the Legislative Assembly today approved the request of the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly, Minister of Education Dr. Yifat Shasha Biton, on the opinion of the Chairman of the OT, Prof. Yossi Makori, to appoint Prof. Shush Shahrabani and Mr. Ariel Tovar as members of the Planning and Budgeting Committee (VAT) for a period of three years.
Prof. Shosh Shahrabani, an expert in behavioral economics, health economics and decision-making, is a senior faculty member at Emek Jezreel Academic College and served as head of the research authority at the college. In addition, Prof. Shahrabani serves as a member of the supreme committee for appointing professors of the MLA. Prof. Shahrabani has research achievements in the fields of economics, which include many publications in international scientific journals and books as well as winning a large number of competitive research funds in Israel and around the world.
