Ambassador Gold explained the great importance of establishing this body, "Britain and Israel are both global powers when it comes to science and research. Both countries have a disproportionate number of Nobel Prize winners in relation to the number of inhabitants, and both countries are home to some of the most groundbreaking and important research ever done. It is only logical that our scientific communities work together and in cooperation. This sends an important message to the way our countries work, and to the relationship we want between the two countries. 1. A consolation for the poor in a time when anti-Semitism rears its head, under the guise of criticizing the State of Israel but explicitly calling for its destruction, especially in Europe, at least the Jews are not affected by the propaganda which, unfortunately, also has innocent supporters in Israel.

As you can read, I have a lot of criticism of the state, for example the ultra-Orthodox takeover, the surrender to the tycoons, the damage to the environment, and the damage to the universities. Many things and priorities need to be fixed, but from here to the complete negation of the state's existence, there is a red line that must not be crossed.
