Late than the rest of the world, residents of a district in India went into hysteria over a mysterious UFO. The British "Time" reports that the policemen of the state of Uttar Pradesh had to shoot at hundreds of villagers who stormed the police station demanding protection from the threatening aliens. The incident claimed one life and 12 wounded.

The mysterious object described as a flying ball that emits red and blue lights attacks, according to the evidence, the residents in the middle of the night and causes them burns or scratches on their faces and limbs. The "assailant" from the outside world was called by the locals "Mohanuchva" - the cuter of faces in the local dialect. At least seven unexplained deaths have been linked to the UFO mystery and have angered residents who accuse the police of incompetence.
The authorities responded to the accusations with a variety of explanations for the phenomena, from an alien invasion to a new breed of insects. One of the strangest explanations is the responsibility of the deputy inspector of the local police who claimed that it was an "insect artificially created by hostile elements outside India" - in other words, Pakistan is to blame.

The villagers in the affected area stopped sleeping outside their houses, which they usually do in the hot summer months, for fear of falling victim to Mohanuchva. Some residents moved to sleep in large groups to strengthen the shaky sense of security. Another step taken is the establishment of a "Civil Guard" patrolling the villages at night. In one of the settlements, residents are marching at night, beating drums and shouting "Everyone be alert." Attackers beware!" The hysterical citizens dismantled all the satellite dishes from the houses and even disabled the radio for fear that the broadcasts were attracting the UFO.

A local newspaper reported that local Mulder and Scully government agents were called to the area, witnesses were questioned and tests were carried out. The agents were forced to admit that the villagers were right after noticing themselves in the dead of night in a powerful flash that passed through the sky of the area.
