The final takes place today, May 2 at 19:00 in Hamada
In the last two months, early competitions were held at Hamada, at the science festival of the Weizmann Institute of Science and at the Bloomfield Science Museum in Jerusalem, in which young Israeli scientists presented fascinating topics at the forefront of the scientific research in which they take part.
Nine of them, the three winners at each of the sites where the competition was held advanced to the finals, will compete for the title and the right to participate in the Cheltenham Science Festival in Great Britain. The scientists will present to you and the jury short lectures, 3 minutes long each, on various scientific topics: genetics, physics, medicine, space exploration and more. The event will be held in Hamada on Wednesday, May 2 at 19:00.
The international FameLab competition is an initiative of the British Council and is held under the auspices of the Teva company and Scientific American Israel magazine. Among the judges: Tal Berman, host of the program "News of Science" and Dr. Adi Matan, attached to science and technology at the British Embassy in Israel.
The knowledge site will report the results during the next update of the site, on Wednesday at midnight.
