The third spacewalk was completed within ten days

Astronauts López-Alegria and Williams completed the electrical connection and upgrading of the station's air conditioning system

 International Space Station Commander Michael Lopez-Alegria and flight engineer Sunita Williams completed at 22:04 p.m. Israel time on Thursday, the third spacewalk in ten days from the Quest space station. The years completed the work they began on January 31st and continued on February 4th. This time it is a short spacewalk - three hours and fifty minutes. 

The focus in previous spacewalks was to connect the station's power and cooling to the permanent systems instead of the temporary systems used until now. The main tasks in the third spacewalk mission were the removal of two large shrouds of the old cooling system as well as the installation of clutches for cargo spacecraft.

Thanks to the current spacewalk, López-Alegría reached the second place for the longest time spent by American astronauts on spacewalks.
