The spacecraft "Bereshit" of the SpaceIL association in cooperation with the Aerospace Industry, was packed yesterday (Tuesday) in a dedicated container. In the coming days, it will be flown by cargo plane to the launch site in Cape Canaveral, Florida, in preparation for launch into space in about a month.

Since it is a very sensitive cargo, a series of complex operations were required in order to properly "pack" it and protect it from the hardships of the road - both on land and in the air.

For the purpose of the packing process, a unique container was prepared, which will store the spacecraft and ensure that it arrives safely at the launch site in the USA. The packing process itself, which took several hours, included lifting the spacecraft using a crane into the container and installing the spacecraft inside. This ended the engineering works at the Aerospace Industry's space plant.

With great excitement, they watched the process of packing the spacecraft and closing it in the container Mr. Maurice Kahn, president of the SpaceIL association, CEO of the association Ido Entabi, one of the founders of SpaceIL - Kafir Demari, Ofer Doron, director of a space plant in the aerospace industry, and more.
