Saturn's majesty overwhelms this image taken by Cassini. Saturn's moon Tethys flies in its orbit, and the icy rings mask the cold of the northern latitudes with their shadow. The diameter of Tethys is 1,071 kilometers.
The image was taken in visible light, in the direction of the green color using the Wide Field Camera on June 10, 2005, at a distance of 1.4 million longitude kilometers from Saturn. The scale of the image is 80 kilometers per pixel.
