All three will receive the title at the next court session.
The Technion will award an "Honorary Doctorate" degree to Major General (Res.) Avihu Ben-Nun, Shlomo Nechama and Professor Amnon Pazi. The titles will be awarded at the next Cortorian session, at the beginning of June. His father Ben-Nun was given the title in recognition of his great contribution to the security of the State of Israel as commander of the Air Force, and to Israeli research, science and the economy.
Shlomo Nechama is awarded the title for his great contribution to the Israeli economy and Israeli society, as the chairman of Bank Hapoalim, and to the education, welfare and health of the residents of Israel as CEO of Arison Investments, and for his extraordinary support of the Technion where he studied.
Professor Amnon Fazi will receive the prestigious title from the Technion for his great contribution to higher education in Israel and Israel's security and in recognition of his many scientific achievements.
