The students Eldad Mizrahi, Aviv Geva and Yahav Shtal, graduates of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics at the Ariel University Center in Samaria, now come up with the solution: the "Sharfana", as it is called: a stool that can move and also raise the user to a height, easily and without danger.
The new development, which promises, after its commercialization, to become an integral part of many lives, is built from a stable platform, on which the user stands with great confidence, supported by a device that 'locks' it and prevents an unwanted fall. The "ride" in the Sharpana is done using bayonet-like handles that control its movement. The Sharpana can move left and right, forward and backward as well as up and down, with the user controlling the movement. At the end of the task we can easily reset it in the home storage or in the corner of the room. These days the team is busy finding investors who are ready to start moving the production line...
