Asimov resign!

A group of angry robots took to the streets of the city of Madison in the USA to demonstrate. What? It's hard to know

The residents of Madison, the capital of Wisconsin, USA, didn't even know there was a problem. At noon on April 28th, they got up and went to their good old Library Mall, only to find there a demonstration of robots, happy about something. What exactly are they protesting, the surprised residents must have asked themselves.

''What exactly will they be protesting about?'', this was the question that the group that decided to demonstrate as robots asked themselves two months before. ''who knows? They are robots, it doesn't have to make sense,'' was the answer, as it appears on the website documenting the demonstration.

Three weeks of hard work building the tough costumes prepared the demonstration.
When the day came ''we had 11 outfits; 10 "regular" ones and another huge one of a server-robot, which was more than two meters high. One outfit was left without a wearer, so it was written "spare parts". An obviously unsurprising musical choice, Kraftwerk, was also played during the demonstration.

This aimless demonstration of the robots eventually managed to drag behind it a noble goal - help to the teaching assistants at the local university, who are on strike due to their low wages, and to the workers in general. "We hope to raise awareness of the exploitation of the underpaid and ill-treated workers of the state of Wisconsin," the group wrote in a statement sent to the local press the day before the demonstration.
