The newspaper The Moscow Times It is reported by the Russian news agency Ria Novosti (August 18) that eight members of the church (to which they attach the not so serious nickname) - The Flying Spaghetti Monster were arrested last Saturday by the Russian demonstration police and by Orthodox activists.

According to Wikipedia, the Flying Spaghetti Monster (Flying Spaghetti Monster) is the god of the religion "Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster" or "Pastafarianism" (combining the words "pasta" and "Rastafari") sometimes also referred to as "Noodalism".

The flying spaghetti monster first appeared in a humorous open letter written in 2005 by Bobby Henderson - a graduate of the University of Oregon with a degree in physics - as a protest against the Kansas Board of Education's decision to allow the study of intelligent design as a substitute for the study of evolution in public school science classes.
The central belief is that an invisible and undetectable flying spaghetti monster created the world. Pirates are considered the original Pasteurians, and Henderson claims that the decrease in the number of pirates over the years is the cause of global warming. Most of the beliefs offered by Henderson were carefully chosen to mock the arguments often advanced by proponents of intelligent design.

The spokesman for the demonstration police in Russia said that the "Pastefarians" held an illegal event. The Russian pastors wanted to celebrate the birthday of the American actor Robert De Niro, who played a hero known as "Noodles" in the thriller "Once Upon a Time in America" in 1984. of Dimitri Anto. "God's Will" held demonstrations against homosexuals and against the girls of the "Possie Riot" band.

post Scriptum. In the video, the police officers tell the detainees that they are hurting religious feelings. Indeed, religious feelings are a very strong thing and immune to any criticism. Unfortunately, also with us (A.B.)

But there are also places where they think differently. In a victory for the Pastafarians, the Czech Republic recognized the "Flying Spaghetti Monster" church, at least indirectly, when it allowed Pastafarian Lukas Novi to wear a pasta strainer on his official ID.

Novy, a Pastefarian and a Czech citizen, insisted on being allowed to wear the headdress in a government ID photo. The Czech government stressed that the permit was given due to religious freedom laws and it is not an official recognition by the authorities of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

According to the government spokesman Novy's request meets the requirements of the Czech law, according to which net head coverings for religious or medical reasons are allowed provided they do not hide the face.

  1. My opinion of the Czech Republic has improved considerably. To think that such a failed Eastern European country is so far ahead of us conceptually. I have a hard time with it.

  2. Well done to these serious and great people. This is the time to challenge the Israeli government and cover our heads with filters for the most part. Long live the spaghetti monster! Long live long live!!!

  3. What more than calling him Lukash or Lukash to prove the divine direction of that flying spaghetti monster and that you won't be sold Lukash everything is given for free by God.

  4. The invention of God and the sea is the origin of the Athasites
That is, God and the sea created the atheists
    And think about it hahaha

  5. And to this the nodalist Ovadia will add:
"Punishment for not leaving an offering of meatballs and basil!!!"
The world consists of reward and reward, cause and effect.
The miracles appear in the little things, you have to search a little to understand the will of the Creator.
And if someone is offended, it's only because he didn't understand my words - correctly.
    Bring on the balloons!
    (I didn't say it)

  6. I didn't understand the humor here. The flying spaghetti monster is a phenomenon that stems from a lack and understanding of a sense of humor.

After all, it was the Jews who took God out so that we would have something to disbelieve in.

  7. My dream is to establish a counter-religion called the "Anti-Pastian" religion and then invite all the believers in the world to a religious war in Jerusalem of the Pastorian religion against the anti-Pastian religion.
In a war that will be attended by believers from all over the world, the believers will fight by sprinkling tomato sauce, leftover spaghetti and antipasti.
Only in this way will the religious wars in the world be mocked and peace will come in the city of peace 🙂
