  1. There is still a problem that the number of students studying math and physics at the 5 unit level is constantly decreasing. Good for such a success, but the average in science should be raised. I am happy with Ort and hope that they will continue to expand and improve (I have connections there - I studied at Ort decades ago and am still in touch).

  2. Apparently everyone there was drugged or inhaled too much rocket fuel fumes and that's why Israel won.

  3. Docking, I can explain to you. There are a number of reasons.
    1. This is a competition between schools and not between national teams.
    2. The organizers send invitations to schools that have a connection to the subject. We have a scientific-engineering major specializing in aerospace. There are a number of such schools in Israel, but their principals are apparently not interested in investing in it...

  4. anchorage
Note that Zvi Peleg compliments himself on the achievement and not the students. It can be assumed that he was concerned about who would travel.

  5. I wonder why one school was chosen and screenings were not conducted for all interested high school students (forbidden to harm the impressive achievement of the representatives who flew)
