Update 14:16 - The Soyuz TMA-15 spacecraft was successfully launched about three quarters of an hour ago from the Baikonur Space Center.

The initial news from the night

Three astronauts about to be launched aboard a Soyuz rocket will usher in a new era on the International Space Station by doubling the size of the crew. Also, for the first time, all the "parents" of the station will be represented on board at the same time: these are astronauts from NASA, the Canadian Space Agency, the European Space Agency, the Japanese Space Agency JAXA and the Russian Space Agency.

The launch is scheduled for Wednesday at 13:34 Israel time from Kosmo South Baikonur in Kazakhstan. The Soyuz TMA-15 spacecraft is expected to dock at the space station about two days later.

The Canadian astronaut Bob Thirsk, the Russian cosmonaut Roman Romanenko, and the Belgian Frank DeVine will be on board the station at the same time. They will join the current team - the Russian Gandy Padalka, the American Michael Barratt and the Japanese Koichi Wakata. The three, members of the station's 19th team will also become members of the new team - and all six will get to be the station's 20th team.

Thirsk called the expansion of the team from three people to six people a "milestone" and said that one of their goals is to "prove that the station can support six people for a long period of time."

Update for 13:40

The Soyuz was indeed launched on the scheduled date, despite fears of delaying the launch due to the strong winds that blew in the area.

Not only children say these things but also many adults.
The prevailing theory today is that there are all kinds of currents in this area and they are the cause of a phenomenon called a giant wave.
These waves can explain the disappearance of ships and low-flying planes.
They must also create a lot of fog that can disrupt communication, cause disorientation and bird accidents.

A huge wave is a wave that can appear without warning signs and can reach more than 30 meters.
They usually occur in the area if streams and in a series of several.

I'm sure you can find more material online (at least in English).

This information is from National Geographic or the History Channel.
If you have seen the movie Poseidon (a movie with similarities to Titanic) there is a huge wave in it.

  2. It has nothing to do with the real article. I was just looking for a place where I could send you a message.
I was looking for information about the Bermuda Triangle to finally know what all the fuss is about, and one of the links that were on this site to this site to some article about the triangle of islands, and I started reading people's comments, and I just burst out laughing. aliens? Mermaids that eat people? come on. Then I saw that the respondents were 12 plus or minus, so that explained the phenomenon. And I have to say that your response really made me laugh.
"Hello Mai, although you are 12 years old, you are probably a victim of the education system, which encourages ignorance in the name of fake pluralism."
    That's it.
    Lovely Day! =/
