Beta Industrial Ltd., a subsidiary of the Nanosol company founded in January 2011, engages in the development and production of equipment for the preparation of nanoparticles and their applications. The company's techniques respond to the growing need for nanoscale materials for a variety of industrial fields. The company employs a team of scientists and engineers with professional and managerial training. The company's offices and laboratory are located in the industrial park of Migdal Hamek, Israel. The company also operates a business arm in Europe.
The technology - our technology is based on a process of nano atomization that is protected by a patent. In this process, a liquid is turned into a spray to form a cloud of sub-micron sized droplets.

The liquid includes the material that we wish to turn into nanoparticles in the form of a solution or suspension in any solvent (for example, water, ethanol, etc.). The company's equipment is unique in the following characteristics: the diameter of the drops, the density of the cloud and the conditions of the drop production.

Industrial production of nanoparticles

The equipment - our systems for the production of nanoparticles are customized to the needs, requirements and applications defined by the customer. The systems can be integrated into the customer's production facility or an independent facility can be built. The equipment can be installed to meet any required output up to a full industrial level.

Description of the process - the production of the nanoparticles is based on the spray-drying method. The material entering the system is in liquid form (solution or suspension). The connection to the relevant nanoatomizer produces a cloud of droplets (with a typical radius of 500 nanometers) that immediately undergo drying to form a jet of dry nanoparticles ready for collection.

The products - the method allows the production of particles of any size chosen by the customer in the range of 1200-20 nanometers, for example: 70-20 nanometers, 200-100 nanometers, 450-250 nanometers, etc., which have a narrow particle size distribution around the required diameter. The particles can be collected in a variety of configurations by choice, for example separate (discrete) particles; Aggregates of particles that are tightly or weakly connected to each other; or collection directly into a liquid to obtain a nanosuspension.

The technology is suitable for the transformation of both organic and inorganic materials into nanoparticles, including soft organic materials, biological materials, and compounds with a low melting point. The particles can be obtained on demand both in crystalline and amorphous form. The entire process takes place at room temperature and at normal (atmospheric) pressure, a feature that allows working even with compounds that are sensitive to heat or pressure.
