The NNOVEX conference, the main technological innovation event in Israel, will be held this year for the fifth time on February 8, 2017 at the Avenue Convention Center in Kiryat Airport. As part of the conference, about 100 innovative startup companies will meet with a series of multinational technology companies. iNNOVEX2017 Meetup allows large and multinational companies to meet young and innovative high-tech companies from Israel in a short and efficient process. These meetings can lead to cooperation between the companies in various forms including:
Open innovation projects, joint development of technological products, possible investment, acquisition of companies, etc. iNNOVEX2017 Meetup is done in cooperation with the Authority for Technological Innovation.
How is this done?
Each international company that was invited to participate in the iNNOVEX2017 Meetup defined the technology areas that interest it and even chose specific startup companies operating in the relevant technology areas. According to the above criteria, the organizers of iNNOVEX2017 coordinated a series of meetings that will take place during the conference. Each multinational company was assigned a meeting table in the iNNOVEX2017 Meetup arena. Each meeting will last exactly 7 minutes, after which both parties can decide whether they wish to continue their discussions after the conference.

The iNNOVEX 2017 conference will focus on encouraging connections and collaborations between mature and multinational companies and young and innovative start-up companies, and is expected to attract about 1,500 engineers, researchers, scientists, managers in high-tech companies and start-ups and venture capital investors. This year the conference will be dedicated to the memory of the late former President of the State Shimon Peres, who contributed greatly to the encouragement of technological innovation in the State of Israel.
Dozens of lecturers from all over the world will come to Israel to take part in the iNNOVEX2017 conference and multinational and Israeli companies will present developments and innovations that will affect our lives in the fields of communications, medicine, automobiles and transportation, the Internet of Things, data security, industrial applications and green technologies. Among the lecturers at the conference it will be possible to see Mr. Kerry Holley, a global expert in cognitive computing and former CTO of Cisco and IBM; Anami Ras, the former eBay and PayPal Innovation Director and now the CEO of Purple Beach, Ross Dakin, Senior Advisor for Technological and Urban Innovation, Microsoft, Prof. Yossi Matias, Vice President of Engineering and CEO of R&D Israel, Google, Dov Moran, Eyal Wedelman, Hami Peres and more.
