Medidata, from Dassault Systèmes, which develops edge solutions to support the clinical development processes, announced today the expansion of the partnership with .Horizon Therapeutics plc The partnership, which has been ongoing since 2017, has so far included only one technological solution and now, Medidata will provide a diverse package of solutions for Horizon's clinical research needs in many therapeutic areas; Including ophthalmology, rheumatology and nephrology.

Horizon will enter a wide range of clinical trial solutions through Medidata Rave Clinical Cloud, the industry's most widely used platform for accelerating clinical research through a suite of applications that includes data collection and management, trial design and management. In addition, Horizon will use the product Intelligent Trials of Medidata, which applies artificial intelligence (AI) in combination with advanced analysis tools and allows in real time to bring multi-industry performance indicators, build predictive models and make predictions for planning and conducting experiments. Inteligent Trials, powered by Acorn AI, Medidata's data and analytics solutions are built on the broadest set of clinical trials in the industry, serving over six million patients in 22,000+ clinical trials.
