A Russian cargo spacecraft of the Progress model docked tonight (night, 31/1/04) at the International Space Station.
The unmanned spacecraft brought 2.5 tons of supplies, including spare parts needed to replace a pipe that cracked and recently caused an air leak.
The spacecraft also brought personal letters to the two crew members on the station.
Astronaut Michael Powell and cosmonaut Alexander Clary are halfway through their six-month stay aboard the space station.
The Progress docked at the station at 15:13 Israel time on Saturday. Later, the astronauts are supposed to start unloading the cargo.
