The Israeli physics team achieved impressive results in the Asian Physics Olympiad held in Vietnam

An impressive achievement for the State of Israel in the Asian Physics Olympiad, which took place during the last week in Vietnam: all members of the Israeli physics team reached achievements and picked up 4 medals - a silver medal and 3 bronze medals and 4 silver medals.

The members of the Israeli physics team that represented the State of Israel in the Olympiad are:

Aviv Tillinger (Yaakov Hazan Democratic School, Kochav Yair) - silver medal, Yonatan Hadas (Pinchas Ayalon School, Holon) - bronze medal, Eyal Wallach (Mosinzon School, Hod Hasharon) - bronze medal, Alon Sheral (De Shalit School, Rehovot) - Bronze medal.

Livy Lubovitz (Leo Beck School, Haifa, Eran Man (Kfar Menachem Comprehensive School, Moshav Lakish), Omri Raved (Kfar Menachem Comprehensive School, Moshav Lakish) and Omar Batsri (De Shalit School, Rehovot) Received a commendable grade.

The Asian Physics Olympiad has been held since 2000 and the State of Israel has been competing in this framework since 2001. This year the Asian Olympiad was held in Vietnam and 188 students from 25 countries participated.

The Ministry of Education and the Center for Future Scientists of the Maimonides Foundation lead the training of students to participate in the various Olympics as part of a joint venture that began this year (XNUMX). The team of students who participated in the Asian Physics Olympiad was trained at the Husidman Center for Science Seeking Youth at Ben Gurion University of the Negev under the leadership of the team's coach, Dr. Eli Raz and under the management of the Husidman Center staff.

I congratulate the team members who brought great honor to the State of Israel and pride to our education system. Keep going, persevere and succeed"

  2. I didn't see us at the European Olympics. I saw it at the German Physics Olympiad 2014. I didn't see Europe.
    Are we approaching Europe? This is important because if not there the high level.
