Today a symposium on education was held as part of the Space Congress in Canada where I delivered my first 2 lectures under the title: Distance learning in a multicultural environment discussing cooperation in space ventures between the USA, Israel and Turkey.
At the symposium I met several important personalities dealing with various aspects of education in the field of space.
One of them is Arne Hansen from Norway, director of the Norwegian National Center for Space Education. One of the science programs he runs is a European space camp, where students have the opportunity to build and launch scientific payloads on rockets to a height of up to 7 kilometers. I talked to him about the possibility of including Israeli tests on these Norwegian missiles and the prospects for that seem promising.
The Israel Space Association will be the coordinator between high schools and university students and the space center in Norway.
