The International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) published a study about promoting peace through space. The IAA carried out the study at the request of UNESCO, with the aim of creating an international focus on Hal's contribution to peace, and in particular to the reconstruction of Afghanistan.
The study examines the role of space technology in promoting peace, using the example of Afghanistan as a testing ground. The study showed how space-based applications can speed up the process of building infrastructure, the economy, education and health in conflict zones.

The International Astronautical Conference hosted a gathering of many lawyers from around the world at their annual space law congress. Over 200 articles about space law were submitted to Congress, in which various aspects of the law in space, on the moon and more were discussed.
One of the lectures, relevant to Israel, is the contract signed by Ukraine with Brazil that allows it to launch into space from the Alcantara space base in Brazil. Israel has meanwhile signed a memorandum that will allow it to launch from Alcantara in the future, but this agreement needs ratification and requires changes in Brazilian law. Agreements of this type are difficult to achieve and the vision and vision from afar are needed to help the country become part of the international space community.
An important lesson from this is that a nation seeking to participate in the conquest of space needs a space law. The Israeli space community is in the first stage of studying and preparing a draft of an Israeli space law.

The role of space agencies as supporters of private space industries was the topic of a discussion moderated by the Canadian Space Agency's vice-president. The meeting was devoted to the role that space agencies play, and the role they should play in supporting the commercial space industries. Israel is a good example of the cooperation between the Israeli Space Agency and the Israeli space industries. A good example of this is the relationship between the government and the Space Group, the operator of the Amos satellite.
To summarize the current report, here are some quotes from speakers at the conference.
Dr. Mark Garmo - President of the Canadian Space Agency said that the agency believes that it is very important that young students be encouraged to study science and technology. He also said that Canada is the international leader in space robotics through the robotic arms (Canadarm on the shuttles and Canadarm2 on the International Space Station).
Dr. Nadavan Nair, chairman of the research body of the Indian Space Agency accepted that its annual budget is only 400 million dollars. There are 65 thousand employed in his organization and about 70 thousand more employed in private space industries in India.
Dr. Kauni Mamiya, vice president of JAXA - the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, said that JAXA helps commercial space companies in Japan in many ways and one of the most important of them is to give the industry access to all of the agency's research facilities, such as wind tunnels, research facilities, and more.
