Zero Gravity Corporation (ZERO-G) has signed an agreement with the company Sharper Image For the latter, ZERO-G's public flights will be marketed and sold starting May 15.
One of ZERO-G's customers is physicist Stephen Hawking, who is scheduled to take off later in April on a flight during which he will experience a few tens of seconds of zero gravity at a time. In addition to his assistants, he will be accompanied by two other people - who will pay for a double ticket offered for sale on eBay, the proceeds of which will go to the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, which takes care of children in need in the USA. Currently, one eBay member, known as lunalight4r5d, has offered $75,100 for a pair of flights and to accompany Hawking to a lecture.
Regular high-altitude flights in which the plane performs loops during the descent part in which the passengers feel a lack of gravity, depart from Las Vegas and the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Among the company's customers, film and entertainment producers, companies that use these flights to motivate employees, non-profit research and the educational sector, as well as the government sector.
