Hawking talked about his experiences in developing the theory about the properties of the universe at the time of the big bang, and told the youth that the most important experience is the eureka experience

"Cosmology has developed in the last 40 years and I am happy to have had a modest part in it." This is how Prof. Stephen Hawking concluded his lecture to outstanding youth in science at the Science Museum in Jerusalem, this morning. Hawking arrived at the scene at almost 12 noon, an hour late. His first two words were NO FLASH. During the lecture, Prof. Hawking detailed the history of cosmology, from the time when the steady state theory dominated to its current state.

Hawking also answered questions from three students.
