3 employees of the space plant, in the rocket and space systems division of the Aerospace Industry - won the first prize for innovation. The three who developed a precise satellite control system are: Ami Halbersberg, Dov Verbin and Abraham Ben-Zvi.
This is a satellite control system with a method that allows the satellite's position in space to be carried out, as well as its marking capability, without any dependence or need for any part of the system's components. The independent control saves weight and the development and operation costs of the satellite systems.

The solution developed is important and critical for satellites developed for the State of Israel, due to the limitations of the size of the satellites that can be launched from the country.

The second prize was won by 2 Elta employees for developing a radome calibration system, and the third prize was won by a Shehel employee for changing the production technologies of operators to Knei - he traveled on the B-777 plane.
