Newton, Galileo, Archimedes and others, will welcome visitors to the Clore Science Garden, a unique science museum operating under the sky inside the Weizmann Institute of Science.

The scientists of the past will guide the visitors through the paths of the garden and the paths of science, while telling what exactly Archimedes understood when he entered the bath with the king's crown; What is the connection between the apple that fell on Newton's head and Newton's three laws; On Galileo Galilei's war to show that the earth revolves around the sun; And also: Helmholtz's musical and acoustic experiments.

Visitors are invited to participate in additional activities: make rattles, whistles and flutes from scientific equipment and recycled materials, watch scientific demonstrations in a formal atmosphere, and understand what sound is and how it is created.

On both days of the holiday, at 14:00, there will be a scientific costume contest. Visitors are invited to dress up as scientists, for a scientific discovery, or anything related to scientific research - as far as the imagination goes - and win prizes.

The Kalor Science Garden is the first science museum of its kind in the world, operating under the dome of the sky. It includes dozens of exhibits that demonstrate physical principles and ecological phenomena in an experiential and active way. Visitors are invited to touch the exhibits, move them, climb and swing on them. The garden, the concept behind it and its design have won several prestigious international awards.

The activity will take place on Purim, on Sunday and Monday, March 21-20, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. 17:00

Entrance fee: NIS 30
