Members of the 34th crew of the International Space Station have landed safely in Kazakhstan

The three crew members, under the command of Kevin Ford, spent 144 days in space, including 142 days on the International Space Station.

International Space Station 34 crew commander Kevin Ford from NASA and Soyuz commander Oleg Novitsky together with flight engineer Yevgeny Tarlekin from the Russian Federal Space Agency landed with their Soyuz spacecraft on the steppes of Kazakhstan around 06:10 this morning (Saturday) Israel time.

NASA says that the landing was smooth and without special complications.

The three arrived at the International Space Station on October 25, 2012, and spent five months conducting experiments and research. Ford Nowitzki and Tarlekin spent 144 days in space including 142 days on the International Space Station.
