The Cassini spacecraft imaged the canyons of Saturn's moon Dionysus and saw a split between the cluster of bright canyons and the bright polar region (at the bottom of the image). The diameter of the moon Diuni is 1,126 km.

The image was taken with Cassini's narrow-angle camera on September 20, 2005 through a combination of filters designed to polarize the green light. The distance between Cassini and Dione's moon was about 2.1 million kilometers, at a solar angle of 64 degrees. The resolution of the original image was 12 km per pixel. The image has been enlarged by a factor of two to see better.
