The SpaceIL association is entering the last line of the project to launch the first Israeli spacecraft after securing its launch this year. With the promise of the launch, Dr. Eran Pribman, CEO of SpaceIL, announced that he has decided to end his position. Pribman, who comes from the field of aviation and brought with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field of system development in the Air Force and in civilian hi-tech, believes that it is true that the next stage will be led by a manager who specializes in managing complex engineering projects.

In addition, Pribman noted: "I was happy to contribute from my experience and take part in this challenging task. I will continue to contribute to achieving the desired goal of landing an Israeli spacecraft on the moon."

Pribman was appointed CEO of SpaceIL in 2013 and since then has led to impressive achievements. Thus, during his tenure, the association signed the launch agreement with SpaceX and qualified for the final stage of the competition where only five contestants remained. Under his leadership, the association developed a rich educational system that includes thousands of lectures and workshops given to youth throughout the country with the aim of promoting science studies in Israel.

Maurice Kahn, president of the Space E.L. Association, said: "Eran Pribman led the realization of the vision to land an Israeli spacecraft on the moon and we all thank him for his great contribution to the project. Eran will continue to help and be part of the wonderful and high-quality team that makes up SpaceIL. Together with the aerospace industry, who are working diligently, we are focused on completing the project, which is nothing less than a national mission, to land an Israeli spacecraft on the moon already within the year." Kahn also added, "We are excited to add Ido, who brings with him extraordinary abilities and experience, in order to successfully handle the launch mission."

Ido Entavi was engaged in technological development and project management and served in various management positions in the Atomic Energy Commission. In his last position he served as Deputy CEO of KMG Entabi. Has a Ph.D degree in mechanical engineering from Ben Gurion University and a graduate of a management program from Harvard University.
