An experiment with an arrow missile with improved capabilities was successfully carried out

This is the sixteenth test of an interceptor from the "Arrow" missile family

Today 26/3/07 at 12:05 an arrow missile with improved capabilities was launched. This is the sixteenth test of an interceptor from the "Arrow" missile family. This experiment is a development experiment aimed at gathering engineering data as part of the Weapons System Improvements Contract (ASIP) that exists between Israel and the US.

The interceptor from the joint production series for TAA/MLM and the American Boeing company is launched from an improved launcher. All components of the missile operated in the experiment successfully and as predicted. All required engineering data has been collected and is being analyzed by engineers.

The interceptor is being jointly developed by Israel and the US under the management of the Wall Directorate at the Ministry of Defense in collaboration with the Directorate of Ballistic Missile Defense at the US Department of Defense.

The main contractor for the development of the system is the Melam plant of the TAA.

The success of the experiment is an important step in the development of the technological ability to respond to the growing threat of ballistic missiles in the arena.

  1. Am I wrong or does the smoke on the lower right look like it's been photoshopped? It seems as if the picture has been retouched.

  2. It's strange that an arrow experiment never fails...
From experience - there is something smelly here

  3. Does anyone know if there is a project to disrupt missiles by ElectroMagnetic Pulse (EMP Bomb)
