A solar air conditioner that works with the power of the sun will be unveiled at the "Ecology Aqua Israel" exhibition

A global innovation - a solar air conditioner that works only with the power of the sun - will be unveiled at the water and environmental exhibition "Ecology Aqua Israel" which will be held on December 12-13 at the Tel Aviv Fair Center. The air conditioner is considered one of the biggest "energy guzzlers" and affects the electricity bill of most families in the summer months. The solar air conditioner is expected to bring about a revolution in this field, similar to the solar boilers that significantly reduced the use of electric boilers. 

Haim Alosh, CEO of the "Ecology Aqua Israel" exhibition company, said that the solar air conditioner is capable of cooling an average-sized room in the summer months and is suitable for living rooms, offices, warehouses, guard posts, chicken coops and more. At the exhibition, a prototype of the air conditioner will be presented, which is about to enter commercial and marketing in Israel and around the world by the "Ava-Tech" company, which specializes in environmentally friendly technologies. The price of the solar air conditioner is expected to be about 200 dollars - less than a regular air conditioner.

The air conditioner will be integrated into the "ecological house" project that will be presented at the exhibition and which will present a complex of developments and innovations that lead to significant savings in energy expenses. According to Alosh, consumers attach importance to the purchase cost and electricity consumption of products for heating or cooling, but taking care to insulate the house is of great importance because this is the tool for maintaining the temperature. In the ecological house, "Kal-Bat" insulated panels will be presented, which combine layers of hard styrofoam and concrete and create an effective and strong insulating layer. In addition to saving energy, the house built with this method has a high resistance to earthquakes and other shocks.

The "Ecology Aqua Israel" exhibition will deal with the field of environmental and water quality.
