German scientists have created the world's smallest soccer field using nanotechnology. A group of physicists from the University of Kaiserslautern built the field, measuring 380 by 500 nanometers, with all the correct markings and proportions of a real soccer field.
The Netano field is so tiny that if 20,000 copies of it were placed on the head of a human hair there would be room for everyone. The Ananova website reported that the only way to see it is to look at it through an electron microscope. The question is, who will play on such a field?
