Want to celebrate the honeymoon in an original way? The Russian space agency Rosaviakosmos offers you to celebrate the exciting event in space, reports theregister website and was quoted in Maariv Online and YNET last week. It should be noted that the first news appeared on the science website on 23/6/2003:
Entrepreneurs ordered a Soyuz spacecraft to fly two space tourists at the same time in 2005

The Russian agency together with the American company, Space Adventures, offer couples who have just married or are preparing to marry to celebrate their honeymoon on the International Space Station, on a flight in the Russian space shuttle Soyuz, for a symbolic sum of 40 million dollars. The candidates for the flight will be accompanied by a professional astronaut, and they will have to prove that they are in good health before eight months of training and preparations have passed before the flight.

According to the spokesperson of the space agency Rosaviakosmos, the company will carefully check the flight candidates, and will not allow the package to candidates "with bad habits, money from illegal sources and candidates associated with terrorist organizations".

If you have an extra 40 million dollars, why not celebrate your honeymoon in an original way. There is only one notable drawback in the package offered by the Russian agency: it is not clear whether the new couple can have sex in space.

Meanwhile, Space.com reports that two American space tourists have begun training in Russia to fly to the International Space Station.
A company engaged in space tourism has sold seats on Soyuz spacecraft scheduled to take off in 2004 and 2005, and it has already purchased two additional seats for paying passengers from Russia. This is what Eric Anderson, President and CEO of Space Adventures says.
The fixed rate for an experience flight in space is 20 million dollars per seat, special training and the special meals for each person who will take the journey that will last 8 to 10 days.
